After over a year of testing, we have consolidated our review of the Grabber AT3 in a video featuring an "analytical self-service" style. While it ranks second in the overall ranking, it's important to note that its performance varies across different terrains. The Grabber AT3 is an outstanding all-season tire (M+S with a snowflake symbol), providing excellent fuel efficiency for an all-terrain tire, comfort, and safety on asphalt, even on wet roads. It performs well on sand, dust, gravel, and fresh snow, particularly during summer. However, it receives an 8/10 rating in mud, indicating that navigating muddy terrain with the Grabber AT3 requires a strategic and cautious approach. Moreover, it is an eco-friendly design that doesn't damage grass easily, aligning with the current trend of off-roading and environmental protection. The Grabber AT3 is an excellent choice for most drivers who go for weekend off-road trips with their families and occasionally venture into the heart of the forest on rainy days (9-12mm chains are recommended in such muddy situations or for more kamikaze drivers).
Thank you, RUclips was never our priority as most of our articles are in writing on the facebook group, but thanks non the less :) - will do better next time.
I was searching for AT3 tires for my Honda Crv 2017. 225 65 R 17, and thanks to your review I choose this General Graber AT3. Other favorites were: Falken Wildpeak AT3 WA, Bf goodrich KO2. Thank you for great review!
I've seen in a demo video of General Tyre that you can deflate the Grabber to 1,2 bar for mud and snow grip and can still do dynamic gravel driving at 1,5 bar.
Thanks for a great review! I am looking for some mild AT tires for my Forester (that will only take occasional light off-road trips) and the main candidates are the Grabber AT3, Geolandar G015 and the Bridgestone Dueler AT002. Did you had a chance to try the Yokohama and Bridgestone tires, and how do you rate them against the Grabber? Also, I saw in your table of AT tires that the Grabber AT3 has a very good score on wet. Did you maybe try the wet braking out, on the tarmac, that is? If yes, how did the tire perform?
Amazing video, thank you for the effort. Would just suggest spending a bit more time on paved road manners of the tires in future videos, especially in the wet, because let's face it, most of us looking at AT tires still do 90% or more of our miles on normal roads :)
Well, asphalt images are a bit boring, so while we did our tests we just added the information as text and voice. Grabber AT3 are one of the safest and best At tires on asphalt.
Excelent video! Between General graber AT3 and Cooper AT3 4s , which one you choose? I have a Grand vitara ii and i need to change my tyres. I think these two are a very close call..
Grabber is a bit stronger than Cooper (on the sidewall) and consumes less fuel. Cooper on the other hand has a bit more traction. Both have the same level of asphalt safety. Do you have access to our AT chart? it is on the FB group
Salutare. Super review. A fost unul din pilonii deciziei de a lua aceste anvelope pentru Duster-ul meu. O întrebare, ce presiune recomandați iarna la temperaturi scazute și pe asfalt cu zăpadă? Mulțumesc!
Thank you for the effort ! I'm a wildlife photographer and spend most of my time on gravel roads and light offroad trails. Do you think it is worth to use Grabbers on a 4x2 Duster ?
Excelent video as always ! How about Matador Izzarda A/T tyre ? Iam thinking about getting some AT for my duster later down the line and afaik Matador is being built in slovakia so why not support local business ? I would be intrested to see tests of Izzarda tyre on your chanel.
Great suggestion! though it might take a while since it is not a tire of interest and we don't have a manufacturer contact. If you could get us one it would allow us better access to original information.
hey guys............ I must change my old 215/60/17 Cooper ATT with a new........ Endurance of the cooper is disappointing. In that size, you have any opinion? Or i should go to the tested yokohama??
Nice video. Did I understand you correctly? You reckon that deflating this tyre doesn't impact on its traction? Or just doesn't change a footprint? Regards,

Excelent review, I watched it and made a nice clear picture of what these tires offer.
Thanks
This video helped me made a final choice between Grabber and WildPeak, thanks!
What did you go with? Have the same dilema.
Well done ....you really have a future in this business
Thanks

Nice and detailed review, thank you👍

1.2 bar is very close to un-rim a tire, one stronger lateral hit and your tire jumps.
Great video. I'm looking at either the General Grabber AT3 or the BF Goodrich KO2... Thanks, RT
you should read the AT chart on the FB group

Yes, performed well on breaking

@@DaciaDusterTrails thank you for your answer! I ll check the chart , keep up the good job!
Nice Video. How is the tire on wet and dry roads. make a video please
Impressive, excellent grip on wet. Above our expectations, to be fair saved our life on wet asphalt in mild winter.
Can you test and review the comforser cf3000 tire? nice video's very usefull, keep up te good work!
We are more focused on ATs and tires are hard to get for testing. Not many brands support us with a low price to make it worth buying.

Thank you, yes, for safety and puncture protection :)
Is a 215/70 r16 possible without rubbing the wheelcase? Or else what's the max tyre size without rubbing the wheelcase on oe suspension?
Yes, this is the max size without rubbing
Hi in mud condition is better grabber or geolander at 15? I have geolander

And in grass ?@@DaciaDusterTrails
I want buy a tyres will be perform in all offrad but 4season , advise? @@DaciaDusterTrails
Do you think that the front wheel drive Duster will manage light off road with this tyre fitted..? Cheers Steve
Not if you face mud&grass, or a rain in offroad.
This or the falken AT3WA?
This is better than falken.

Cooper ATT is a summer tire, so you did a bad call
@@DaciaDusterTrails yes, probably. I didn't had many options then. U have Any suggestion??
How does this compare the the fallen wildpeak at3wa?
The grabber is much better, remember that you have a chart on our FB group
@@DaciaDusterTrails in the chart i see the falken with a score of 85.5, and the grabber AT3 with a score of 82?

Is better gabber or geolander go15
Grabber, you should search for the AT chart on our FB group
Is the graber better then the cooper ATT? Duster 2023, 60% road 40% offroad, Orginal 17 wheel
Yes
In my experience Grabbers wear out extremely quickly. General will NOT honor the warranty, even if you get a defective set!
try to redo your geometry
