Our final segment (Part 4) starts with Hopsin opening up to Nick Huff Barili about the moment of clarity he had while on tour. Seeing how fans were star-struck by him made Hop want to give them the formula on how to reach success including the struggle instead of just glamorizing money and groupies like most rappers do these days. Hopsin says that he always belied in God but didn't know what it meant to do the right thing...Until a few months ago when God spoke to him. After that experience Hopsin says that he feels like the blindfold was removed from him and now he can see what he is supposed to do. "I had to find out that the devil existed before I knew that God exists fully." Hopsin continues by describing how when he was young all he wanted was to have money and girls on his jock but now that he has it like that he never uses the "celebrity" button. There is much more to this candid conversation but we don't want to give it all away. You are gonna have to watch the video for the rest.

The devil has people speaking for him, just as god has me to speak for him. There are people who live just to make others doubt their faith, but they are the ones who will end up burning in hell. Well this explains Ill Mind 7 perfectly. "I've always believed in God, but I just didn't know what to believe" which is exactly what he is saying in Ill Mind of Hopsin 7.
Hopsin can say all he wants about drugs, but when I was 17, I used mushrooms a couple times and all I ever did after was question why. I question everything. I also felt my relationship with God grow stronger from these experiences because I felt like I was talking to him. The thing is, is God is on your shoulder all the time telling you the positive, while Satan is on the other shoulder tricking you into believing what he has to say can be good too. This is all metaphorically speaking as this is something that relays in your conscious. It goes down much much deeper then any religion can explain though. People who don't believe this way of thinking are people that want proof. Proof without faith is what the negative energy thrives off and faith without proof is what the positive energy feeds off.
I like this Hopsin. Too bad this world continuously tries to talk people away from God. Hop was truly at his best here

This will always be one of my favorite interviews of Hopsin. It definitely made me want to listen to him even more & ultimately made me "fall in love" with him.
I can relate to what he said about his eyes just being opened and feeling bad about writing negative music. I always believed in God but I was looking for spiritual fulfillment in the wrong places and I had an epiphany like he said I just saw things different and clearly. I realized God was the only way. And I began to have a relationship with God and then I would feel bad if I listened to music with cursing. I felt guilty for indulging in negativity. God is so good and when you choose him 1st he provides everything else for you. Glad he found what he was searching for.

I find this video extremely hard not to smile at. His energy seems like it is radiating through the camera. I feel like he is a very honest person and desperately wants to help people awaken from the slums that most of the world's population has been trapped in. When this video was released hopsin believed in God; it was that "spiritual high" where he is on fire for God. Ill mind 7 represents how his Christian walk was and is now; and the final result is that he apostatized or in better terms lost his faith in God.
