    I’m a Marine and was in Nasiriyah at this time working on that supply route he mentioned and it was crazy and our first real idea of what WAR was 💯

      🫡🇺🇸 thank you for service! I did 3 deployments in Iraq and 3 in Afghanistan but Iraq was my “welcome to war” moment that makes us all see things differently

      Hahahahahahaha: it's funny because it's possibly true, ask the couple sf dudes that were put in black sites after being attacked by a 9 ft dude that skewed two ops guys ...

    Great breakdown, thank you ! The sheer debris from 'Gulf 1', made that extremely hazardous in and of itself. 🇺🇸 🙏 👍

    Was the Iraq war over oil rights and not WMD?

    • @zukowskichet4359
      @zukowskichet4359 Месяц назад +1

      Neither, it was a way to test all of the new military equipment the defense contractors had sitting around and also was used as a way to present officers with medals. Can't have high ranking military officials without combat experience and medals, and the Vietnam War era officials were getting up in age, so they had to have some way to pin a lot of medals on a lot of younger chests. Expect a war every 30 years or so because of this.

      There was plenty of “WMD’s” recovered, mostly old chemical crap, but not what was preached. Most of whatever went into Syria, which is why TF20 went far west. “So I’m told”.

    • @Sean85Laney

      @Redlight25 white man's ding-a-lings (wmd) are what everybody else spent 18+hr/day searching for while I was fighting the Windol in Baghdad, which is why some saw werewolves and such. Some dudes were hung and dried in the sun off bridges to later be eaten like dried Jerky and others were cooked alive in burning Brads but the Windol underestimated the heat and their meat supply was cooked off completely.
