Couple more intangibles on the 'horns side: seems they've stayed remarkably serious-injury free this late in the year. Plus coming off the Saints win they have a "mini-bye" week, having four days off before getting ready for the G-men. That's gotta be HUGE this late in the season, especially since they'll be on the road from here on out. The Niners-Rams finale will be fascinating: will SF rest people? Will the current LA momentum, the weekly increase in self-belief, and being the decided underdog playing with "house money" and no expectations be enough to have them going toe-to-toe with the Niners?

    Rams and 49ers:
    1) Great GM/HC combos - two smart guys who like each other and work together.
    2) HCs are two of the best offensive minds in the NFL.
    3) Great QBs and the two best sets of 3 WRs and an RB in the NFL.
The 49ers have more stars on defense. The Rams lost 3 future HOFers in 2 years but Les Snead, McVay and Rahim Morris have worked miracles despite having no high draft picks.

The Rams are looking like they could be a threat up there with the Lions! It’s 49ers, Lions, Eagles, Cowboys, Buccaneers and then the Rams! I say those 6 teams are the ones you do not wanna play against in the playoffs

The 6th and 7th seeds in NFC are still open between Seahawks, Rams, Packers and Saints. Rams only have 2 games left with 1 tough opponent. Seahawks, Packers and Saints have easy opponents. If the Seahawks and Packers can win 3 games straight, the Rams will be out of playoff. So, there are still so much to do as McVay said.

Think about this... you could have Joe Flacco return to play against the team that he won a Superbowl with, this time with blood in his eyes and looking for revenge on the team that dumped him for the young gunn, and Stafford coming back to the place he called home for over a decade, if both scenarios happen it would be epic.

There's no beef between Stafford and Detroit though, other than they could never put a supporting cast around him but he's still very popular in Motown.

It will be beef when he wins the first NFL playoff game in Detroit since the 1990's. He will destroy the hopes of LIONS fans yet again, nobody rooting for Detroit will leave the game thinking "MATT STAFFORD is a great guy for ruining our season".

I'd like to have seen the letter sent to ticket holders in 2022. I believe the part about the goal being to win the NFC West and make a deep run in the playoffs is typical of such letters. Does Eisen expect them to ever say, the goal of this season is to sandbag so we move up in next year's draft where we can pick up higher skilled players.
