Team wasn't dangerous until Stafford and McVay elevated the team. Think of the Lions teams with Stafford, he always made them competitive but they just never had the talent or skilled coaches to win big games.
The most surprising team and definitely out doing expectations with a bunch of very young players. By far McVay's best coaching job, I'm A Bengals fan but never saw this coming from the L. A. Rams... Most people thought they would be the Lambs but instead playing though and showing up.

Think about this... you could have Joe Flacco return to play against the team that he won a Superbowl with, this time with blood in his eyes and looking for revenge on the team that dumped him for the young gunn, and Stafford coming back to the place he called home for over a decade, if both scenarios happen it would be epic.
There's no beef between Stafford and Detroit though, other than they could never put a supporting cast around him but he's still very popular in Motown.

It will be beef when he wins the first NFL playoff game in Detroit since the 1990's. He will destroy the hopes of LIONS fans yet again, nobody rooting for Detroit will leave the game thinking "MATT STAFFORD is a great guy for ruining our season".

I'd like to have seen the letter sent to ticket holders in 2022. I believe the part about the goal being to win the NFC West and make a deep run in the playoffs is typical of such letters. Does Eisen expect them to ever say, the goal of this season is to sandbag so we move up in next year's draft where we can pick up higher skilled players.

Everyone in the playoffs should be concerned rams are a very good team on both side of the ball. They took it to the ravens for 4 quarters. A rematch may not turn out the same as the first.
