Yes completely true. My ex wasn’t always mean just completely heartless and cold. No empathy whatsoever. I would sit there and cry so hard I would almost hyperventilate. No comforting words no hugs or anything to make me feel better. It is the worst feeling ever.
I experienced terrible rage and it was from a narcissistic so called friend, she even attacked me the last time. I cannot even imagine what it’s like living with one of these demons. This was just a friend and it made me ill, thankfully she is no longer a friend or in my life.

Even after I got a restraining order, six months later he came by my house and damaged all four of my car tires. I saw him that morning walking away, but because I didn't have a camera in place I couldn't prove it. I have a camera now. I still watch my surroundings but I am happy to be out of that. I do feel if I had allowed my ex to stay in my company any longer it would have gotten worse. I knew it was time to end it. It's been a little over two years now.

A narcissistic parent, usually the mother never showed love and used the child as an extension of themselves, even reversing the parent/child roll. Narcissistic Personality Disorders like type 2 diabetes are hereditary as learned diseases. Just one is mental abuse, while the other is physically damaging by teaching bad eating habits. Unfortunately, in particular, a covert narcissist never grew up emotionally. If this can be repaired at an adult stage, it would require accountability, which is also lacking in these damaged souls. It's not their fault what they are, but it is their fault when they lie through omissions, gaslight, manipulation, and cheat. They know what they do is wrong, but they don't understand other people's feelings or care about anyone but themselves. This includes their own children.

You are describing my mother 100%. She was constantly threatening to disown me, and she did twice, until I finally walked away for good. It wasn't just me she wanted to control, it was my thoughts and opinions and interests as well. If they didn't line up with what she demanded, I was always punished. I would never give in and go along to get along like my siblings. I was the problem child always causing her trouble and grief. She was always listening in on my phone calls on the other extension, going through my private things in my room. In my personal experience, she reveled in playing the role of victim on the outside from other people in order to gain attention, sympathy, and "supply". When I was growing up as the scapegoat, I always thought there was something really wrong with me, she made me believe that. When I grew up and left home, I began to ask the question, "What the hell is wrong with you? Why do you hate me that much? Are you jealous of me? What is it exactly?" Now after going no contact 17 years later, whenever I look back the only conclusion I have is that she simply was just evil. All narcissists are evil. When I was married the first time to one, we went to marriage counseling after I gave birth to our son. After our first couple session together, I was set up to be counseled privately. I was told by my psychotherapist that I must leave asap while my child is still a baby. Told me that he won't change, they never change, the marriage won't get better. Said to quietly plan it and not tell him, just pack up and go while he is away at work. They were worried for my safety, said they believed he was dangerous and might harm me or worse. They told me to go to the courthouse and get a pfa when I leave. Boy were they right. I am really glad I listened to them. You guys are doing really great work, you don't get enough credit in society today as being essential. I appreciate all you mental health workers. You are the nurses of mental health. Anyone out there if you’re going through a divorce and you have a home security alarm system with cameras, call an alarm company and have them check your system I had a malfunction with one of the cameras and called for service, however, I didn’t want to use the company that I had been using during my marriage (because my ex was friends with the owner) I called a different company and they brought it to my attention. They could tell that someone was remotely viewing the cameras offsite from a desktop and a mobile device. The service tech called the previous alarm company and demanded that they disconnect I’m not tech savvy. I may have gotten some of these details wrong but it’s true. Protect yourselves! It’s worth the service fee, call and do it !
That's illegal, even if the divorce is not yet final. Bring it to the attention of the district attorney. Check out your car, your phone and computer, and then get him in trouble. Document everything. If the company he used is in on this scam, you can go after the company, too. This is very serious.

Wow, my narc woman once picked up my journal. I asked her to give it back which she did. However, the next day she asked me what it was, was it my journal? I said yes it was, and I normally keep it locked in my filing cabinet. Of course she was offended I didn’t trust her. It wasn’t that at all, I just kept all my important papers in there with valuables.
You have described a couple of my sisters and nieces.
People claim ,like myself, that they have different personalitys. Like a two year old trying hard to get what they want. Before they learn exceptance, patients, honesty, emathy for others, safety, and self awareness, reasoning, exsetra. They are mentally, and emotionall incapeable of understanding these simple prinsibles. Sad!

Your description fits my ex wife of 13 years perfectly. Because I loved her so much, I endured her systematic and relentless torture all those years thinging that if I tried hard and long enough I could MAKE her happy. Huge mistake. You will never fill the enormous hole they have in their soul. Unfortunately for me, the light bulb never came until my life was utterly and completely destroyed. No way short of a miracle, could I ever recover the massive damage she inflicted upon me. She is without a doubt FILLED with demons.

So he reactivated it and had stolen my SIM card . He then had access to almost everything that was going on . Dirty dirty. Complete invasion of

This guy (my friend) secretly synced his phone to mine, stole things from me and lied to me. But all his other friends would never guess that he has done all these things. To them he’s so much fun, so caring, the best friend you could ever want.

I get confused as to whether someone is borderline or a covert narcissist… I’ve been going through hell with a friend of mine and she said she was diagnosed with borderline a long time ago, but she also uses all these tactics 😕 it makes it harder to know how to tackle the situation

My sister in her sixties and me in fifties. She will rage if I point out "that was a little selfish what you did to me and it hurts. Rage overcomes her. Yhan she starts taking away her car even for my job. Its treating me like a child. I work shes on ssi and hasnt had a job in thirty years. If i bring up how I feel its dicipline time. A guy where she gets groceries asked her out and she was nice until next day and is completely ignoring me hanging out with neighbors. I have to be her dutiful sister or dicipline time and talks smack about me to neighbor. I hate living with her. I was her 😅 caretaker for nine months or slave for her broken shoulder but you would think she was dying. Now shes done with me and its tome for me too disappear shes done. I cant stand her

You just determine a person I lived with for 15 months thanks God I get out now I’m facing false accusations in court and she asking for no parenting time for my child and tried to sneak a deal for me to give her full custody and she will removes her accusations against me the worst part is the judge don’t even care about the truth , is enough for them when they see a victim is female automatically she will be believed even this person has ten years of domestic violence alcoholism drug use and abuse attempted murder of her ex boyfriend no one cares to see that’s this person is awful on top of that she’s an ex prostitute that’s pretend to be a Christian for the first month on top of that she suffer from hallucinations and again she’s on pills for schizophrenia but you will be surprise the judge granted her a protective order even tho I was abused for 12 months she admitted that on a record I live in Arizona need help it’s unbelievable how those people get away with stuff
