2:35 One helpful suggestion I would like to make is that you could put a blanket or a piece of cardboard at the bottom of the opening (after removing the panel) so if you accidentally drop a screw, it will get caught by the blanket or if using cardboard, it will deflect the dropped screw to land in the trunk.
I must be getting OLD since I can remember when muscle cars from the 70's had an air filter that could be changed by loosening ( by hand ) one wing nut and lifting off the cover. Today, you need to remove sections of the trunk and be sure to have a complete mechanics tool set available at your disposal to change one. WOW! 😂
Excellent video, as always! Just installed mine yesterday, took only about 40 minutes.. I didn't even have to remove the carpet fully... def an easy upgrade... I change all my stock filters in all my cars, mainly so I don't have to buy new one's, just clean them... and yes, put a towel down under the filter cover
I probably installed mine just before Justin or close there after and you can tell the difference and the change in sound is amazing! Add an exhaust and see what happens is all I’ll say.
@@FrontSeatDriver I’m friends with Ken Lingenfelter and ended up going LPE by Corsa, the pTR Carbon Intake and I’ve been told my car has the ‘flat plane crank syndrome’ sound. It has a low sounding pitch to it now and it’s loud. People hear me coming and going.
Nice!! I can’t honestly say on my car. I didn’t drive it enough with the stock filter to be able to tell. But like you, most people say it definitely made a difference.
I’ll be changing to an Attack Blue when it’s time to change my air filter. Thanks for the install video Jason. It’s easier than I thought it would be, but still a bit of work vs. the one wing nut mentioned previously on older cars breather covers. Everything is more complicated now, but thankfully more capable to go along with it.

Good idea!!!

Lol. Tell me about it.!! It’s crazy. I think they do this so you’ll pay a dealer or someone to do it.

Very cool install guys! Definitely a great performance add-on! Love the decibel reading at the end.
Yup. Steve’s idea!
"Like" That puppy is going in my C8 Z51, Beast, as soon as it arrives. It will be accompanied with a Paragon Track Exhaust. BooYA - Paul Yunker

Hoping they create one for the Z06 and I hear that it is different on the Z06 as it is a two piece filter..
Interesting. I haven’t heard that. I’m not up on all the Z info since I know I’m not getting one. 😢
