I kinda like two better than one, since it gives more reason for Merasmus to hang around and show up for events every Holloween. But both explanations are basically in character of the Mann Brothers wanting the same thing and refusing to give it completely to the other (the reason why so many maps have both team bases so close to one another despite them being enemies). While it is definitely fan-interpretation, it would be pretty on-brand for how screwy the TF2-verse is.
This was so fun, I love the way the tension escalates after Heavy yells “BE NICE.” All the passive aggressive compliments were great! Lol calling Soldier’s helmet a “bonnet” 😅
I love how Soldier has Drill Sargent shades instead of his helmet that blocks his eyes.🪖 It was a wise decision, since filming might be hard if Ben can't see. Besides Soldier is looking snazzy with those shades 😎

Well, technically there have been 2 cast changes. Originally, Dodger was Scout (in Medics Don't Heal Scouts), but since she lives across the ocean and has a family now, Katie has taken over the role. And Peter used to do the vocals for Medic, but now AJ does. (in "Engineers Are Your Friends" they explain the voice change as "Medic started smoking to relieve stress after The Incident")
Wow wasn't expecting you to come back to this old and yet still fantastic game, it's so nice to finally see the Soldier and Demoman after so many tf2 musicals with out them and the actors aced their characters' attitudes and accents straight from the game. Well done on another amazing project RE

God these actors are amazing Honestly, just getting demoman right is a task for itself, since he's such a unique character, but they both performed super well. Love that heavy and medic make an appearance too, that was really sweet And that chorus is awesome!

Great premiere, greater video! Love all the minor references, you'd think after this many musicals based on TF2, you'd run out of fun things to reference, but you haven't yet... the reference to MVM is making me hope for a future one based on MVM in a grand team up of the mercs.

In TF2, RED stands for Reliable Excavation & Demolition. So, it seems to fit as both Soldier and Demoman are competing on who is the better explosive class. Soldier's versatility against Demoman's destructive capability.
One day it would be awesome to have the whole team in one video, even though I realize that they're all busy/unavailable most of the time. I don't expect the missing ones to get their own songs, but I can always hope that the option isn't completely off the table forever! Love your work, as always.

All I can think about is RWS Duncan and Stanley arguing about their military experiences during their time they served. Stanley a America locomotive that worked on the trench railway in the 1st world war. Duncan a Scottish locomotive that worked in a RAF munitions factory and took a drunk soldier train every once a while. I can imagine them both singing this song and Duncan literally crashing Stanley to derail like he was known for doing in his mentions in “Duke the Lost Engine” Best part is both engines are Red in the book series where as in the show Duncan is Yellow and Stanley now called Smudger in the show is a Green and isn’t a Baldwin 10-12-D as he’s meant to be like in the book illustrations.
The fact their canonically best friends makes me remember those joke arguments me and my friends would have, every time I listen to this song. I love your content.
