You want to build a machine gun like this? Well…YOU CANT. Yeah, it’s absurd. Find out why in this video: ruclips.net/video/lDKi4B36vIQ/видео.htmlsi=9BLUvEJlxBJ6tW6o @tatargets
Love the bit at the end. More and more in the 2A community are waking up to WHY we really have the second amendment. And it's not for sporting or self defense reasons. We are very close to seeing a situation that the founders predicted when they wrote it.
Make Auto-RIlfes Great Again! Awesome build! The Hiperfire Auto Triggers are also an amazingly good auto trigger with an excellent single stage if you look to replace the Geiselle.
Disagree with 2 points of the build: 1. I would replace the handguard with something beefier, or larger in diameter to control heat better, and 2. I think a 3-18 is a bit much for a 5.56 autorifle. DMR role, go for it. But autorifle I think an LPVO or a fixed mag prism are the way.
Spare barrel? Any sustained fighting you’re gonna wanna have that. Quick pull pins and a second upper. Not a perfect barrel swap option but it’s better than nothing.
For the most part you should be fine, rpk style weapons are great for hit and run tactics similarly why the navy seals loved em in the Vietnam war tho it is an issue I don’t think most situation would need you or have you push it to it limits
Good stuff I built something similar with a 20 inch gun did mine with a fixed stock, extra heavy buffer and spring, side charging and a 19 inch mlok free float rail. I was goin for a "modern ish stateside FAL" if you will at the time but in 5.56. Real basic, small weapon light, sling and a red dot, try to keep it kinda light but have good lethality. I've really fell in love with the system and have hunted with it the past 2 years, it's been excellent to say the least. I've takin 3 deer, 2 beavers and a coyote with the rifle, all one shot stops.
I think this is a cool idea. I'm not certain that auto rifles are really going to give the overmatch capability that we're all searching for. But this is definitely a step in the right direction.
(^^^) We can never achieve 'overmatch' with what our government is threatening us with. That said, we CAN achieve "a rifle behind every blade of grass," and make our enemies seriously bleed for coming at us...
I think it depends. If you're opening an ambush with this, you're gonna target heavy weapons first, so if you drop high priority targets first, then you can probably overmatch the counter assault. That, and government stormtroopers might not always be the target. It's doubtful a group of raiders/looters will have something to out perform this, so it already gives you an advantage there
Red Right Hand makes their RPK style upper in .308 now, so that is another bigger hammer in the tool box. What we really need is for FightLite to make their belt fed uppers in .308.
Great video I really like the message also Has me thinking that a large frame with a .308 20" barrel rifle gas and a few saw pouches full of D50s would be a good thing to have
Awesome job. 100% on point everyone saying “civil” should be saying “revolutionary”. There really isn’t right wing or left wing anymore (if there ever was). People should understand that the party lines are horizontal now you have those on top and those on the bottom.
I'm building a similar rifle, however I've learned more towards the IAR role as my optic is a 3.4x elcan with an m249 bdc reticle. I can make close shots with precision, out to 300yds or so, then after that the reticle opens up into area targets. It's not my first pick of optic, but it was a wide fov than an acog, and the bdc is calibrated for m855 from a 20" barrel. So it's a reasonably affordable IAR optic
Interesting build and kind of neat. Was wondering how close this is suppose to follow the 'RPK doctrine"? It seems to be more of a DMR that can do full auto rather than the RPK being a 'hand-held machine gun'/ individual MG. Seems a 4150 CMV chrome lined barrel with a heavier profile might of simulated the role better.
Agreed. I do think the 1-6 scope gives a little bit extra to the unit. Rather than just general suppressive fire, it can give the individual more options at longer ranges.
💯 This video was spot on as to why we (the 2A community 🇺🇲) do what we do-- excellent video and a beautiful rifle that I'm envious of! Subbed. Headed over to watch your 'build' vid now...
ive got a 16" faxon gunner barreled upper that im thinking of either just forcing into this type of role, or changing it to an 18-20" fluted barrel. i just dont know if its worth the cost for a slight velocity increase( for th 18" at least. 20" is quite a bit more barrel)
Ive been thinking about putting a 20" barrel on my x39 upper with an overbore bipod, and trying to run the modified korean drum mags that hold 75 rds of 7.62x39 with a binary. Same concept lol
On the civilian side, belt feds are pretty much only practical in a static position, because you can't make more belt links. So if you are dumping 200 links on the side of a hill every engagement, you're gonna run out, with no ability to link more up. So unless you can stack linked ammo DEEP, or only use it in a static position, I'd say an rpk style is the way to go
The Auto-Rifle concept was meant to be a member of a fire team that is able to do rifle stuff and be able to be logistically supported by standard rifle ammo (including magazines). Belt fed are awesome but that is a machine gun feature that doesn’t translate well to a rifle in the fire team.
I disagree with the future scope choice. 1x6 or 1x8 is the way. Pull the suppressor off and you can easily clear rooms or trench with a team if need be. The 3x18 is too big and makes the gun a dedicated “long range” gun, instead of a true Squad Automatic Rifle. This rifle needs to be able to hang with a 16in general purpose rifle in 0-300m. Obviously a 3x18 will do great at the farther end of that spectrum but will be useless at under 100m. Instead keep the rail space for a night vision or thermal enabler. With the rate of fire, accuracy, flash/sound suppression and ability to PASSIVELY fight at night you will be on a bother level of dangerous. P.S. 45rd mags are the way for this build.
No it's a lower that was manufactured around 2021 and I bought a 1/8" drill bit and put two holes in the lower. Then installed M16 parts kit. Not a Pre 1986.
I’m trying to afford groceries as well as stock up on food. I’m gonna have to cover my RPK base once I know my family won’t starve in a couple months without grocery stores. Workin on it. Lol
I would personally just go classic at that point. The carry handle from the m16a2 was originally designed for the colt lmg. If you get a bear creek arsenal hbar barrel and pair it with a PSA lower with a binary trigger installed. You’re not losing anything in terms firepower
In one breath, “citizens can’t stand behind the 2A faces of GunTube & companies like myself to protect the 2A, rather stand up and fight as well!” Then the next video; “Weigh your own pros and cons of a giggle switch, while mines fully legal” Don’t ever martyr yourself….
I just recently saw the RPK with the 20/24” bull barrel M240/RPK bipod. I think going with a lighter barrel is better because I would think accuracy in high rates of fire comes from the bipod, not the barrel weight. Being a 223 Wylde barrel you could open up the chamber by doing a quick chamber brush on a drill. I saw a video once where he had the Geissele SSF on a 45 degree and spring loaded to 90* for auto. Never used the trigger before ruclips.net/video/YEJgPQzhMgE/видео.html
accuracy degradation from cold to hot barrels is more significant than i think you realize nevermind the fact that this is a machine gun so a chonky barrel is a requirment for sustained rates of fire. laws of thermodynamics and whatnot
DAMN MAN...RPK BUILD IT IS.....COMING UP .....20 BCA BARREL ANDERSON UPPER AND LOWER...AIMS BCG...ALG QMS TRIGGER ...UTG 15 HANDGUARD BIPOD STOCK PISTOL GRIP AND FOREGRIP
I am a bit confused as to him talking about making this gun select fire… isn’t he admitting to a crime or would he have to state the power’s serial numbers etc.? Can someone enlighten me? Not something you want to make an oopsie on.
@KeystoneCarry I should've prefaced the question, if you could only take one rifle with you, and you had to choose between your RPK or an AR-10.... which one would you choose? BTW- what's an RPK (concerning your select fire 5.56 build)
I think it was important to discuss the legal side of this build. Like it or not, you are an influential person now in the gun space. If you don't state in the video that this was done legally by an SOT then other people might think it's legal for them to just convert their gun to a full auto machine gun as well

Not for self defense ? I’d saying tackling an overstepping government or invading army is definitely self defense and self preservation.
thats war@@battlebornops
I love it that full-length rifles are seeing some love again. Great use case, and the long barrel makes total sense.
Tax cattle… great description. Everyone needs an RPK. Enjoying the builds and thoughts.
Make Auto-RIlfes Great Again!
Awesome build! The Hiperfire Auto Triggers are also an amazingly good auto trigger with an excellent single stage if you look to replace the Geiselle.
Red right hands LMG upper is what I’m after. The heat sinks and gas tube design is pretty awesome for this.
I really think Red Right Hand or Small team Supply are a great starting point for this concept.
I’ve thought about just throwing a binary in my M16A4 clone so i can use it as a pseudo RPK and just get a bunch of 40’s.
Geissele Mk8 rails aren't too heavy and they handle heat great.
@@squirreltakular9049 I agree, I was just thinking something with more mass to act as a heat sink

LMT upper receiver plus a extra Barrel with an allen key 😉
Someone should invent a quik change barrel system so any barrel can be used at any time as long as your gas tube is right

Another good step and motivation for us Americans not to be scared of the enemy. Great video and beautiful build
For sure. I’ve got a 16.25 with a 1-6x24 lpvo, top mounted bipod, white light, and 3 chamber break for some good flat suppressed fire.
Top mounted bipod? You fire it upside down? That’s sick
Top mounted bipod?? From who

More like the IAR the Marines adopted. Definitely a place in the line up between the carbine and a medium machine gun.

That was great the way you put that gun together.
I did a similar build prior to seeing this, 20" chf fn barrel and all geissele/sons/fcd stuff. acog rmr combo with a 640 scout light.

Cuckrithm comment. Nice job bro
How'd you get the rattle can paint job? Use like a mil laundry bag or mesh cover?
Why a lpvo and not a dedicated scope. Also why not a red dot with magnifier?
Very cool 😎
You run into any issues with the superlative gas block? Certain guntubers have claimed in auto, they don't hold their gas selection.
What Buffer system are you using? I looked on Zions website and I cant find where it is listed.
What is the length of the hand guard?
How about Fightlite MCR belt fed upper?
