I'm a long-time fan of Barnett crossbows and still own both an old JACKAL and one of the Raptor FX models. I've personally suffered an injury with the JACKAL and do an annual crossbow safety video. I'm so excited about the fact that Barnett added the retractable pistol grip! This is a very positive safety enhancement that along with the finger guard reminders will go a long way to keeping Barnett in the top five crossbow companies in the industry. Thanks for the video Lancaster Archery, but I sure wish Barnett would exhibit at The Great American Outdoor Show! Great review Mike!

Appears to be a very nice crossbow being sold at a reasonable price. Been successfully deer hunting with my Excalibur crossbow for the last 12 (or is it 13) years. If I were looking for a new bow ~ $500.00 would be the sweet spot for me.
That price is awesome! Companies need to do this to go after Falcon and Ten Point and their absolutely rediculus $3,000 dollar crossbows. Capitalism baby! 🇺🇸🇺🇸👍🏻

I just picked up my new Hyper Raptor today. I cranked the CCD literally one time and the string sled snapped in half.
