@@fernfieldfarmsHomestead NAP ThunderGlo llluminated Half Moon Crossbow Nock. I have used these on a few crossbows at 400fps with no issues and I chronographed my Hyper Raptor at around 390fps with a total bolt weight of 400grains. The lighted nocks are around 35ish grains if memory serves right.
@@fernfieldfarmsHomestead Well actually I went back to using my trusty XP 400. I like the narrow limbs of the Hyper Raptor and that's about all. The foot stirrup is way to small for my size 12 boot so its 1 shot in my stand because I have to get down and remove my boot before I can cock it again, the cocking rope hangs and never engages safety when cocked and its heavier and in someway seems clumsier than my Xp 400. Oh and the Halo makes it hard to quickly swap bolts if I decide to take a pest but dont want to use my best bolt and broadhead.
I have the BCX. I’ve killed two deer with it. I have accuracy problems with the lighted knocks and no longer use them. Anybody else noticed this? Non lighted knocks shoot great. I only use the hyperflight arrows. What is your info source that says it’s ok to use other arrows. I appreciate your videos on this bow, good information.
My pro shop says that the Barnett are not getting the speeds they say they like the xp 400 and alpha 410 in a crograph is this right my amped 425 was shooting 500 grains and was still was still faster than the alpha 410with stock bolts

With the hyper raptor you site it in at 20yds it has 6-7 holds in the scope. Can’t remember at the moment. It doesn’t say but I would assume it’s 20-30-40-50-60-70. I had a hold Barnett that the scope was supposed to be 20-30-40-50 but 40 was more like 36 and 50 was like 45. My question is have you tested all the holds to see actually where they are? @@fernfieldfarmsHomestead It has the very common problem of the incorrectly made V groove in the cams shredding the cables. As I said before when Mike was there and answering calls specific to this bow he promised many of us redesigned cams, cables, & strings that would cure the problem. My cables shredded in June. Mike said that since I had other bows I might as well wait to send it until the upgrades were available in August. Mikes gone….no clue to where, no one knows anything about any upgrades. They finally sent me a shipping label & not a word from anyone since.
Was going to buy this xbow. They can't produce these wth the buk ops scopes in time for hunting session. Bought a tenpoint and will not buy a barnett probably every.
The plastic piece that holds the string on the cocking string broke and pieces went everywhere. This was on the hyper raptor. It’s a bad design and not safe. It should be metal.
I think we complain about things that need not be complained about. Instead of loading the bolt nock through halo first, put the point through the halo apparatus then push the nock in the trigger mechanism. You are making it too difficult, where it needs not be.
How is the v between the cams did they fix
I use the lighted crossbow nocks from Walmart paired with Bloodsport bolts and have zero problems shooting from my Hyper Raptor.
@@outlaw7195 what nocks are those ? The only issue I see is of warranty comes up and it's not covered because they haven't tested those products
