- This is the first time I've used a graphics tablet that works on Android. No drivers needed. It's plug and play. Here's my review of the Huion HS610 drawing tablet.

This is not related to this video. I am using Note 9 for writing notes with Samsung notes. I would also like to use bamboo app but it seems to not have palm rejection. I cannot believe a premium product would do this therefore I think I am the one missing something. Can you please help me with this. Thanks.
@@sekaleditenyane4464 Galaxy Note 9? That should come with S Pen which has palm rejection for ALL apps.
@@teohyc I am using the spen, which works well on all other note taking apps except the bamboo.

Im glad they finally have something like this. I always wwanted to draw on my phone but it didn't have the sensitivity i wanted. I thought i would have to dream on buying a ipad pro just to draw but now is possible with a cheaper but still good tablet for my phone

@@cavernadosantos. No, it doesn't, you only need a PC for updating the tablet firmware. Once it's done, you don't need the PC anymore.
But its used in landscape when you're phone is in portrait so is it?

That's not lag in Photoshop Windows version you tested, I can see the smoothing option is on 10% and on the mac version is off. smoothing option make the line move slower than your stroke speed on the tablet

Thank you so much for testing this product with multiple different apps!! I have MediBang Paint on my Android Tablet and I was unsure if spending a lot of money on the tablet would be worth it - mostly because I didn't know if it would be compatible with my drawing program. Very helpful review!! :D

Thanks. I was about to buy the Samsung Note 10 for the pen, sacrificing the camera and screen power I could get with a s20+ but now,with a little Huion 420,I could be all set. I wonder if you could use the tabled as a normal cursor outside the drawing apps, for video editing etc.
Hey, not sure if you'll read this but i was looking for a beginner tablet and was kinda looking to go for either this one (HS610), the deco 01 v2 (same size) or something a bit smaller like a deco mini7 (7 x 4.37 inches). While i want something nice that'll last me even if i were to get a bit better eventually, i also don't wanna overdo it since it's not like i'm an actual artist, it's just for fun. What would you say? Does it make sense to pay a bit more for one of the bigger models like this one, or should i just go for something like a deco mini 7? Thanks a lot for your videos and keep it up :D

I tried it with my android and it uses the half the screen in landscape and it can't be used vertically in Portrait, this makes it impossible to even draw a circle
Do you need a PC to configure it or ill just connect it with my Android phone right away? Also, how is it so far after a year since you uploaded this video, did you encounter any issues with the tablet that could be a deal breaker? Thanks!
It's plug and play for Android. However, not all Android OS or phones will show the cursor, and there's no way to find out in advance.

It will take time to get use to drawing digitally. Just practice more. 😁

How do you add the cursor? When I got it I didn't know where my pen was at when I would draw so it was very difficult...

I came to this video as part of my research on whether to buy it or not.
On the Amazon sales page for this it says that the cursor will not show up in Samsung devices at present, except for the Samsung Note Series. So if you have a Samsung phone that might be why. Although I wonder if other phones might have that same problem.
I did see a comment somewhere that someone was able to add a cursor in the settings of their Medibang app. Perhaps other apps might have a setting that could help as well.
Then cursor problem only exists on Samsung phone. Try using other phones and it should be fine.

Hi, you can "rotate" or at least simulate rotation :) Just rotate either phone and tablet as well :) And of course better start from the blank page ;)
How did he get a cursor to appear on his phone, mine won't do that and it makes it hard to draw
I didn't do anything. The cursor just appears when I connect the tablet. I'm on Android 9 by the way.
probably your smartphone doesn't have this feature . What are your android version?

I recently got me a HS64. It's my first graphic tablet ever. I've been drawing on my phone with the disc stylus for a long time but it's really not a very good xp for me using this tablet :( The coordination is very difficult and also the handling of a pen to draw on the tab is very strange feels like I can never get this device to help me in my workflow. Any tips how can I get more used and synced to using it? I also think the pressure sensitivity settings play a great role in customising it to your own use? Thanks.
There's not pen settings customisation so you have to get used to it. It's going to feel different compared to drawing on a bigger screen

Thank you so much for this video buddy. I am trying to switch off the pen hovering feature but can't find it in this application. As soon as the pen comes close to the pad it starts to write, I only want it to write when I actually touch the pad. Any idea how I can do it please?

Hi! I bought one for my daughter but we are having a problem as we are not seeing a cursor on her android phone. She's having a hard time drawing because she can't see the cursor and it's a pain drawing without knowing where the cursor is. Hope you can help us. Thanks in advance
Not sure if it has to do with the Android version. I'm using Android OS 9. Maybe you can try other drawing apps to see if the cursor appears. fossbytes.com/best-android-drawing-app/

Price always varies depending on promotion. You can check the prices on Huion's website and Amazon

It doesn't auto rotate so you have to rotate the tablet to draw horizontally

Not sure about the cursor. It appears automatically. I'm using Android 9.
I'm having issues with this tablet and illustrator... whenever i start to draw a path with the pencil.. it draws a straight line first before it starts to let me control it... anyone have this issue?
yes I have same issue and I also have problems with pressure, and yes when I connect to mobile it use full pad instead of half
At 10:35 I saw that you were using 10% smoothing on the Windows section of the video.
That's my default setting.
How do you connect the table to the android phone-?
Use the USB-C or microUSB adapter provided. I don't recommend using with Android because there are many issues, too many for me to even type here.

Not sure about that. Check on Huion’s website to see if the tablets are using the same driver

Dang. should of tested it in ibis paint to see if you could bind those buttons on the tablet. and obvs you can bind the two buttons on the pen within the app but im curious to see if you can bind the buttons on the tablet within the app. Probably not but the developers should add some tablet features that are used on like the mac n such

Unfortunately the pointer may not show up depending on the Android or UI of the phone you use. There's no setting to make the cursor appear.

Only Android. Note that not all Android phones will show cursor.

Cursor may or may not show up depending on the device you use.

It should work with Android 6 and newer version. So it should work.

I don’t have the S9 to test
it works thanks to DIGImend who made drivers so it will work on linux pc's, android is also using linux kernel and if vendor decides to include drivers on mainline (by default, except AMD and NVIDIA drivers) then things that work on linux pc's will work on android too.
However android seem to have a bug where only the half of the phone is being used, try to tell huion to do something about it.

@@Ashish-cb7bi There will be no shortcut keys because there's no driver. Only way to get shortcut is with keyboards and if the app already have pre-programmed shortcuts.
I have a problem, so to speak, and I already went to the official website and tried different models of cell phones but I can't find a solution. How do I get the Huion HS610 to recognize the entire screen in Landscape position? By turning the Android phone or tablet horizontally, the Huion creates an invisible wall that encloses the pointer on the left side of the middle of the screen. It seems that in Android the Huion HS610 only works the vertical rectangle that is activated in the work area of this graphics tablet. Truly disappointed that they do not configure a horizontal work area with some of the physical buttons that it has; And that's another thing: there is no App by Huion to configure the buttons to be useful. If anyone knows a way to solve these problems, it would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately that's how it works, and what's shown in the video. There's no Android driver so there's no settings that can be changed.
