I honestly feel like "the easy part" is the hardest one. The rest of the routine is easier for me, but holding 10 secs and then keep doing push ups is a killer
static holds are the hardest type of exercises. it's really easy to give up because it starts to hurt and it feels like the time is going slower. but if you dedicate your self and don't give up they can help you get so much more gains.

It helps your muscular endurance. Try to do this exercise with a backpack and put a 10 pound medicine ball in it and do push ups.

Guy resistance is resistance and muscle is muscle. Your body does not know the difference between weight training and calisthenics it only knows work load I.E how much your lifting and how often aka frequency of strain that you are putting on your body. Simply put, gains will be lost if you do nothing but sit around all day regardless of if you trained with body weight or with weights previously

dude, this workout killed me! at the last push-up set when you said to max it out and do as many as we can, I literally collapsed after 5 push-ups. I feel this workout is harder than your intense chest and abs home workout. Thumbs up!
you can get extremely strong doing calisthenics when i came out of 4 months of basic training army went to the gym and started grabing weights and went all the way too 80 pound dumbbell bench press each hand so 160 and could have gone higher couldn't believe it
I am a 15 year old and have been going to the gym for a year, tbh I haven't made much progress however my body is very defined and I am stronger than I look however I struggle increasing the size of my chest and arms so I'ma do this video twice a week and hopefully get some good results 👍 thanks man this is mint

you just need to practice push ups more often before doing this then your pushup endurance will increase over time

When u do calisthenics u dont lose ur gains even if u take 2 month break, but wen u only lift weights u lose u gains in matter of weaks

Do them on your knees until you can perfectly do them
You may need to start out on your knees, I know it sucks but trust me that's what I did and it worked for me. But it takes time
