    Excellent advice Emre & Maia. Really enjoying your videos and advice. We actually found you when I searched Bogliasco and found that we had booked the same apartment!!! We have been to so many of the places you have visited - seems we enjoy the same things in life !

      Thank you for your nice comments. I'm glad you're finding our videos useful. That gives us motivation to publish more. Yes - that apartment in Bogliasco is amazing. The only thing missing is a diving board from the balcony - haha.

    Thank you. Very interesting and excited video. It will come in handy for us in the near future. I only wish if the lease can be longer than six months. Love your channel. 🙏👏👏😀

      Thanks for watching and thank you for your comment. I think there is way to do back to back 6-month leases, but each lease would have to be under a different family member's name. The agency can answer questions like that if you contact them.

    Ditto on unwanted upgrades. Before the pandemic, I had a Peugeot 2008 reserved and got an unwanted upgrade to a 3008. Similarly, this year Citroen upgraded me out of a C4 Manual to a C5 Automatic (am driving it now). In both cases, I ended up with a bigger car than I wanted/needed. Prices have jumped in 2023 (last year I got 3 months for

      Thank you for watching. Currently living a carless life and really enjoying. But some of our adventures would be impossible without a car, and Emre has nerves of steel behind the wheel! All the best!

    What about EU Residents? It looks like its only for people Outside of the EU? What can people in the EU do?

    • @happygoluckytravel
      @happygoluckytravel  9 месяцев назад

      Yes, the program is only for non-EU residents. We're not aware of any special programs for EU residents, unfortunately. All the best.

    Much appreciated! Have you tried using a VPN to search using alternate location? Does it help to get better rates when the bot thinks you're local?

    • @happygoluckytravel
      @happygoluckytravel  Год назад

      When requesting a quote, you are asked to select your country of residence. Later during the actual booking/reservation process you will need to provide identification and proof of residence (e.g. passport, drivers' license etc). I don't think a VPN or alternate IP location would be helpful to obtain lower rates, but I'm not sure. I've never tried it.

    It seems that Europeans are excluded. That’s important to mention

      Hi. Thanks for watching. I do mention that these programs are only for non-EU residents. It doesn't matter what your nationality is however, but your primary country of residence.
