I experienced a level of peace I haven’t felt in 20 years when the “living books” theme started playing at the beginning. I haven’t heard or thought about it since then, and the actual feeling of being 8 years old just suddenly came back to me😢
Wow what an incredible blast from the past. Somehow I remember everything! Allll the sounds all the music makes me feel like a little kid again. Really thanks for posting this
The nostalgia, those were the good old days. We shall all pass these great educational kids to our future generations without introducing them to those smartphones & tablets.
That rabbit who told the taxi driver to “follow that car!!!” and then became evil, with his head turning dark red was the funniest thing I saw while playing this game!!!!
At 47:15-47:33 DUCK SONG (Ducks) We can see you're smart. So we know you oughta, Take to reading, Like a duck to waddle. And if we can swim, and know how to fly, Then you can read, Each time a bug passes by. The ducks singing this song sound like Flick from the "Playhouse Disney" TV show "PBJ Otter". Flick is a duck, you know. I guess those ducks were voiced by Eddie Korbich. In "PBJ Otter", I still remember the part in the "Telltale Candy Wrapper" episode (on S2) where Flick ate all of Peanut, Jelly, and Baby Butter's candy. And the otter kids were accidentally punished by Opal Otter. But when Mrs. Otter found out that it was Flick (after Flick told her), Flick, he apologized to Peanut, Jelly, and Baby Butter. Then in the end of the episode, Pinch Raccoon (in a meeting with the otter kids) revealed that Shirley Duck punished Flick. Flick was forced to pay for the candy and stay in his room for a whole hour. (NOTE: While it is unknown where Munchy Beaver was in that episode, it is possible that he was also in trouble and/or was grounded for a week. Since this episode was paired with the other S2 episode "The Dollhouse", Munchy in "The Dollhouse" chewed Pinch's dollhouse. And in "The Telltale Candy Wrapper", the reason why Munchy also wasn't with the otter kids, Pinch, and Scootch at the park is because like Flick, Munchy he was possibly punished by his mother Betty Lou Beaver and/or was grounded for a week.) Still though, the ducks sound like Flick Duck from "PBJ Otter". Believe it or not.
Mother:oh there you are I've been looking for you two Aurther:DW is pretending that she can read DW:I am not!!! Mother: well DW just pretend that aurther can teach you have fun!!!

It was Arthur's Reading Games that featured Arthur's Reading Race in my time.

This brought back so many memories 😭
Hey yo let DW dance
I wonder if this has it's own speed running category.
I've had the part at 2:28 burned into my brain since like 99 lololol
This was my childhood game
I played that during my childhood days in the 90's.😃
Mother:oh there you are I've been looking for you two
Aurther:DW is pretending that she can read
DW:I am not!!!
Mother: well DW just pretend that aurther can teach you have fun!!!
This one is quite funny,
Mom : Arthur, spell SISTER
Arthur : B.R.A.T, Brat!
DW : I am not!
Mom : Arthur!
Arthur : S.I.S.T.E.R, Sister.
I wish they would make an app of it from Wanderful Storybooks since I’m growing up because I haven’t played it when I was in preschool.
Here from PBG
