I have a 2009 Honda CRV with 110,000 miles where I had a little noise, bought the “O” ring the dealer suggested. I hadn’t changed the PS steering fluid, so I also bought 8 containers of PS fluid from the dealer. We did this manually by raising the front tires and changed the fluid, by turning and adding new fluid and draining the old. Turns out the dealer sold me the wrong “O” ring, so I didn’t change it. After doing the PS fluid change the noise disappeared. I have now 137,000 miles and still no noise. Any suggestions?

Would it make this sound if I had to move this outta the way to do another job? I had to move it to do the timing chain & now I have a sound, it didnt have the sound prior to doing the timing chain. Also I think it makes the sound while it's on running & not necessarily turning the steering wheel
