I LOVE want you have done with everyday boxes and containers. You show that you don’t have to spend a lot of money to have things organized. You are very methodical in choosing what goes where. You have inspired me to rework my craft room! 😊
Of all the crafting videos I have seen I love your craft room the best! It’s just a real vintage feeling and brings back memories of my grandmothers. Thank you!! 😊
You know I love a good craft room tour. You have done amazing organizing. I believe the same, with a little ingenuity you can easily incorporate a creative space right where you live everyday. I have to say, and you will appreciate it. My very favorite item in your entire space is your vintage Esprit shoe box. It brought memories of all the clothes and shoes and such I had growing up. Esprit De Corps was one of my favs. Hugs Meg, I’m so glad you are back and healthy!
When I saw that you didn't have a dedicated craft room I sort of assumed that you would have to have limited supplies...girl was I wrong! You have got a great stash!!!! And you have managed to keep it well organized in the space you have. Well done. I would say that I am a very organized person and I don't think that even I could fit what you did into that space! Awesome craft space Meg! -Mary
Beautiful space, Meg! I love how you have incorporated a variety of lovely vintages pieces as storage into your space. They are gorgeous and functional! 🥰💕
Your space is lovely - functional and very pleasing to the eye. I love the print tray on the wall and the wood on the desk. I would be very happy there. I work at the kitchen table and my supplies are in my husband's office, but it looks like a whirlwind has gone off in it. I did have a little bear that says "I'm not messy , I'm creative" but my daughter took it. She's got the untidy gene too!
This is so helpful...organizing these items are so challenging! And you have just enough in the way of crafting supplies and not too much. I need to par down..thank you so much!
Just Wow!❤ you have made THE very most of your space in a fabulous way. Well done. I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Ty for sharing with us! You had me at the metal spool holder in the first few mins:)!!!!
Congrats on hitting one thousand subscribers and on getting your own crafty space set up! It's so nice to have a place to create that's not the dining room table (been there, done that). You did a great job getting it all organized. 💖
An encouraging video for sure for those of us without a dedicated Craft room .. and that is by choice for me .. because I have carved out a corner of my bedroom because that the room I love ❤️.. the best storage that I have loved for my fabrics .. vacuum bags !!! They are transparent, you can get small one’s and organize by color and store in beautiful baskets like files !! ❤
Oh, I would love to see that! I am trying to imagine what that looks like. I need to do an updated video, as a few things have changed -- my fabric small pieces are now in ziploc bags within a large plastic tote! Sort of the same idea maybe! Thanks for watching and commenting!
@@ChasingRetro I’d send a photo of I knew how !! Lol 😝 not electronically illiterate but not a RUclipsr ! They are clear and I can’t stand nit being able to see what’s in something!! You can reduce a huge pile to flat bag only a coupe inches thick and you can see the basic colors inside .. I have grouped by basic colors.
Great set up! So glad you now have a special space of your own and that it has a chair so you can have visitors while you work. I have that Scottish Tartan book as well! Our kids are grown and on their own, so I have my own room, but for years I had a set up in in the playroom corner. Thanks so much for sharing!
Wow, what a great craft space tour! I feel like you made the most of a small space. And having everything in containers helps everything to look nice and organized.
Love checking out your space! I laughed when you said these are the books I'd like to make journals bc you like the covers and you have enough for the rest of your life, loL!
I love your space, it looks like a lovely happy place to work and everything is within easy distance. Your vintage lady cut outs: I bought an old photo album (the type with the sticky boards and the clear sheet over the top) and that’s working well for me, you might consider it? Also a bit of beeswax on those draws will help them slide easier. With the lace, I’ve hole punched my cards and put them on big rings, that might help you get less snagged on the pins- but also when you put the pin in, bring it down up and then down again so bury the sharp end in the lace 😅
Hi Meg💕 Awesome space and I love how you used vintage items to store your craft supplies. The desk is amazing and I'm sure you will move stuff around. A little suggestion for storing your sewing pattern ladies, I my delicate items in a photo album that has the peel apart pages. It has the sticky back then plastic protects your items, I did a video on it. Thanks for sharing, enjoy your weekend. Hugs! 🤗
Google " quick oven". It was a term used for a very long time. We had to know the temps in high school for several vague temps. Fabulous use of such a small space, but you are fortunate to have very little compared to many others. Great variety of baskets etc for storage. I have a couple of the same ones, but now ill dig them out to use for soms kind of storage.❤ good strategy in your use of space. Greetings from Sandi in Vanderhoof BC 🇨🇦 Canada
I love your space you’ve created! I am using my husbands old drafting table and I squeezed it behind our living room furniture because we just didn’t have anywhere else for it. It’s not easy to use back there, but at least I have a desk now instead of the kitchen table (well, mostly) :) You have definitely given me ideas for storage. Thanks for sharing!
Great tour and a very well thought out space. I love all the vintage containers for storage. Love it. I am definitely loving my lace on the envelope punched playing cards (one of my SundaySnappySnippets) with no pins!
My craft space is in my dining room as well and I feel so inspired after seeing your space. It’s wonderful! I have wanted to keep my space looking like a dining room when guests come but it’s just not working as I have so much hidden away that I can’t find what I need.
It was a hard decision but I realized that it would just show our guests that I love to make things and that we make the best of the space we have. :) I’ve been loving the space too cause I’m not hidden away….i like to be in the middle of my home’s activity. :) Enjoy setting up your space! And thanks for watching!
@@ChasingRetro You’ve convinced me! I’m going to make the table into a proper craft spot, where things are in reach. We are fortunate to have a dining table in our family room as well so that will help in the decision making. Basically I have to get over myself and fully commit. 😅
You really have made the most of your space! I love that you created a space for your family to join you.

Tip...you can pin the lace with safety pins instead of the regular pins and then it shouldn't poke you if closed properly.
What an amazing collection ❤
I love your space. I love to use vintage things for storage as well. I love Kim Newbergs channel. She has great ideas.
Thank you for this.. I loved it. Very inspiring. I don't have a seperate room for crafts anymore, so this is just the idea I needed to see.
