    This is intriguing and unique to see! I've followed Ronnie for 30 years, but in here, he looks like a young innocent student learning the trade. Even for somebody winning so many titles and being one if not the most decorated of players.

    hi, how to hold the grip on line of aim? while standing should the grip hand be already on line of aim above the right leg? seems that as i am getting down and my body turns my grip hand goes offline ???

    *Tell Ronnie to try keep his cue parallel with table, for example, he does strike down at an angle a lot of the time*
    ( In general play - not when playing off the cushions like in this video ).

    Great to see but if I could give a bit of advice, I've noticed lately that every time Ronnie goes into the pack off the black he has always been on nothing lately.
    I think it's time to change the way he goes into the pack because if you notice other players like Higgins and Gilbert , they are always on something usually.
    That's the only part of Ronnie's game what needs tweeking I my opinion. It's just allowing his opponents to get back to the table a LOT

    I can never consistently get my angles right.
    I find straight, head on shots the hardest.
    I miss simple pots and I pot shots that I have absolutely no right to be potting.
    Snooker makes no sense to me. I rattle alot of shots in the jaws of the corner pockets.
    I can never execute backspin shots on the cue ball no matter how much I try.
    I just wish I could start building breaks and string more than 2 or 3 pots together.

    Funny I’m watching the most decorated snooker player that ever lived and probably ever will live taking lessons from a guy most of us don’t even know and if he were to day he won’t make half the papers. But yea Ronnie is there “learning” 😊. Good pupil.

    I coach sometimes people and I'm good at snooker (137 highest break when training) but with Ronnie I would keep my mouth closed because who knows better than the GOAT? 😅

      Lots of people have coached him over the years, Without that, he wouldn't've won much. Ray Reardon possibly the most important? Ronnie had only won 1 world championship until he worked with him, he was behind Mark Williams, who had won 2 by then. Ronnie might be like Ales Higgins without the coaching, a great talent that never reached full potential.

Prime Ronnie beats Prime Hendry all day and twice on Sunday. Its in there head to head as well. Ronnie O'Sullivan is the greatest player of all time GOAT 🐐

      @GordonCockfield-js7gt Ronnie obviously learns, he had a poor safety game in his early career. He's now beating players with his safety game. He plays safety so much like Ray Reardon now, if you knew anything about past players.

    I am agree with Ronnie that there is no break . It is simple physics. The momentum of cue ball is transferred to object ball. Yes the angle make difference in momentum transfer which effect the speeds.
    If Breaks means speed after contact with OB then it happens on every shot nothing special with this angle. ❤❤

      Actually you can just put the cloth the other way round when reclothing to 'turn the table around'. (Assuming the triangle tray is not fixed at either end of table though)

      ​@user-yp7vy3dj3o I think ronnie was being sarcastic when he said that. Ronnie always prefers his pockets as tight as they can be because he's a perfectionist, and when he plays at tournaments the pockets must look bigger to him than they do to other players.

      The instructor has been working with and teaching Ronnie since he was a child, so I believe. He said he was there to congratulate him on his first century break, when he was just 10 years old. I think Ronnie is professional and humble enough to always appreciate working on his game, especially with a lifelong coach.

      @@gazf6163 Thank you Gaz - actually I was a player on the pro am scene (and five years older than Ronnie) so I saw his from the age of nine... and he remains the best cueist of that age I have ever seen. We played each other half a dozen times as teens... his playing career took off, mine stalled and at the age of 28 I moved into coaching full time and was quickly appointed UAE National Coach based in Dubai for seven years. in 2009 we spent a bit of time on the table together and this time around we have spent 7 months or so going back and forwards on various topics. In total I have coached players in over 50 countries....

Play once a week but I miss basic shots but then I'll sink a shot on an angle I have absolutely no right to pot, so it's a funny old game. I would love to have had your career.       He is always fiddling with something! It was an incredible experience, though, and the 2023/24 season we spent together was super interesting - I took in all about 100 pages of notes on his game and thought processes

    This was a miserable failure. You ruined the best player in the world.
    The best safety player of 2024 had zero safety in the world championship.
    And all the medium to hard pots, what you call the key pots of the game, they ALL stayed out.

      @@TheSnookerGym I feel bad for my comment, Ronnie really deserved to have at least one triple crown year but he lost form just before the main event. I think because he felt comfortable with his game he became way too aggressive. Now in most matches his opponents have the control of the match.
      At least for a few months in 2023 he was the king again.

      'Barrow the Berk' does have quite a nice ring to it, I must admit! He won five tournaments during our time together - as Ding did in 2013/14.
