  • In this episode we take a look at the FF7 Rebirth Demo that has dropped and focuses on a very pivotal moment in the Final Fantasy VII story, the Nibelheim Incident where Sephiroth discovers Jenova and has his villainous turn. Here we'll break down the similarities and departures with the original Final Fantasy 7 story, and look at the gameplay features that are teased in our first playable glimpse of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.

Even though I’ve already preordered the game, I think I’ll pass on the demo to build up my excitement for the whole enchilada, as it were. That way I can go into it completely fresh, haha.

i finally had a chance to play the demo last night and man i thought it was excellent

I was a bit surprised by how brutal the ending scene of the demo was. I mean, not that it was over the top or anything, but that part where we're crawling on the ground and being forced to watch while Sephiroth is just dispassionately slaughtering people caught me off-guard. I guess it's because Remake was so incredibly tame by comparison lol.

Your videos are good but you could use a small bit of background music. It’s more engaging having a small OST going while you talk
