I personally like a little more control over the fades, especially for trimming background vocals. Good thing Cubase provides for everyone’s preferences 😁
hi alice, wonder if you can help. all my settings have been lost in cuebase 13 pro. im trying to default bck to factory but im having difficulty. the issue is iver lost the ability to see my audio inputs that used to be linked to my akai, prophet and my sub 37. no matter what i do i cant get them back and i cant wipe clean a new verson because cuebase is remembering these settings. when i put cuebase 12 on its all good. do you know how to reset audio inputs to factory or beter still remove all files that are cached for remembering this mess. by the way when i re start and hold cntrl / option it doesnt re set this, neither doe a fresh instal so these settings are held somewhere i cant work ou, im on a mac. thanks if you can help.
@@Strafuzz I have they are slow to reply and I can't even open a support ticket. very frustrating. so I'm asking the cubase community who are better than support.
@@alicebyno there is a file that has the settings cache but I can not find it. I'm on a Mac. if anyone knows please let me know how to wipe it totally clean with everything gone.
@libtekk Check out my video called 'Cubase stopped working'. I'm on Mac as well and in that video I show the location of the preferences folder. Might be (close to) what you're looking for.
Awesome tip! thank you!
Really cool, thank you!

Great macro, thank you!
This is great! Thank You!
Although I was able to get the macro set, and it appears to be working (adding the Fade IO) the volumes aren't responding...
Hmm, if the fades are added the volume is changing. Maybe you’re not hearing it because the fades are so small.

Why don’t you just email Steinberg bro? 😅
Hi! I could only tell you to completely reset, but since that’s not working I would take Strafuzz’ advice and contact Steinberg.

You can slow down the playback of the video, up to 0,25x even 😁 In the settings on the right.
