Those tie down points are kind of terrifying as someone who has a FWC, and see scouts with it being pulled out. I'd do a reinforced anchor in the bed bolts.
Awesome to see 63 Industries getting out there more. I met them last year, such a nice couple with some really cool ideas. I got my KARGA yesterday and doing the install today. The front seat version is a really good idea. Not having to worry about my camera gear sliding off the front seat or setting off the seatbelt alarm would be nice.
Looking fresh. The Kimbo + Tundra is fire. That storage system is amazing. That would be sick for the Sprinter also. Can’t wait for the next set of videos!!
A (current?/former?) Kimbo employee is making a drawer system specifically for under the Kimbo. The company goes by "OnwardsUSA" and their aluminum drawers come in two heights. (~ 5" or 7"). Not cheap (obviously) at around $3k, but such an excellent use of space for storage. The Tundra should handle the extra weight easily enough (and the extra height is even needed for a Tundra)--don't know if these drawers work on Tacomas (for either extra dimension).
For the love of god, The Karga base model over the seat is $200, double stack is $400!!! You could build the exact same thing with wood and a moving blanket for $30! These are the companies that are ruining Overlanding and Car camping. Like the Pecos table thats $600.....for a plastic table with no accessories. These add ons or improvements are only feasable for social media influencers or peope with more money than they know what to do with.
Hey I have a 2022 Tacoma and I have been trying to find something I could use yeah round to so a tent won't work. The 4 wheel full pop up is a good concept but no shower is and absolutely no storage for clothes makes it impossible to year round in it. Do you have any suggesting? Much appreciated.
Did you make any modifications to the Tundra’s suspension specifically for the weight? I’m picking up a scout camper (1,100lbs) in January on my way to Revelstoke for a snowboard trip. I’m thinking of adding airbags and a stiffer sway bar at a minimum.
I wonder if this would work with Decked pull out drawers? That would clear up more room. I thought about getting a Kimbo but the biggest complaint I hear is just not enough room. I had a Avion C-11 and lived in it for probably 5 or 6 years. Just a little bit more room.
Love this setup!! Random question if you put a Decked CARGOGLIDE would that be stronger to hold down the Kimbo? I have no idea but when I saw the platform I thought of the slid. Awesome setup!!
@@TalonSei too bad. Thanks for looking though. Right now I'm just hauling around small Little Giant ladder, and that thing takes up a ton of space. I like how flat that one gets.
@@TalonSei I think you can-ish, I mean it only really adds more storage space on the side, well depending on the custom job, but pretty sure you could make it work, as in going back to a normal-ish truck. but ya the price is kinda nasty but fair
@@TalonSei I could see that, but they have a bed designed for the Kimbo, and it supposedly only takes 5min to disassemble the side panels, heck I was thinking about buying one but ya the price tag kinda hurts... and you have to go all the way there with your truck, which for me is like a 3day travel...
@@TalonSei what are your thoughts on the max air vent with the thermostat? Would that help maintain an ideal temperature along with the Dickinson heater??

I like your idea for utilizing thr space under the kimbo but above the truck bed. very cool shelf ideas inside too
Kimbo season is always a fun season. Those karga solutions she legit
What a sweet truck
I would also love the front seat one.

Can vouch for the chainline quick release brackets.. they are awesome.. Kimbo should frankly license them and offer as a factory option….
Love seeing the new Tundrimbo! Or is it Kimbra? Tunimbo? Kimdra? The 63 Ind. platforms look really sweet. Gives me some ideas for the camper shell...
I like “Kimbra” 🤣
@@TalonSei The OEM++ Kimbra, I like it.
How about Tacoma Kimbo Combo?
Tunbo
Wrap the Kimbo! Sei Ghost Camo
I’ve been waiting for the jumbo tundra videos
Great to see this pairing - - answers a number of questions I had for my future plans.
Love the Kimbo - But you couldn't pay me to take a chance on the new Tundra powertrain out in middle of nowhere. Hope it serves you well.

Yup. Built one for my frontier 14 years ago. Still going strong.
I would love to have a double stacked Karga system for the passenger seat for my jeep gladiator
They can make that happen! Reach out to them and let em know 🤘🏼
Yes of course keep making videos

I think I seen you drive by my place in eastern Oregon with your new setup
Are the Karga legs different lengths depending on the vehicle??? Would love to try in my Ineos.
Yup they can make they any length you need! It would be sweet to have in an Ineos
Okay funny man. We would love to help you and your Ineos out.
@@63_Industries Hell yeah. What’s the best way to contact you?
@@BeavBrodie1 I'll DM you on IG (and sound hipper than I am btw)

@@TalonSei Awesome, thanks Talon.
Love some Kimbo content ❤
I need a talon sei and been Petersen collab
How is that heater holding up, always loved that one in the kimbo
Perfect 👍🏼
What are those slip ons you are wearing?
Haha, I was wondering the same thing 😄 Good video
@christopher2447 @modohead they are the Lusso Cloud

A decked system would be way too tall for a setup like this unfortunately
Love this setup!!

I have no idea but when I saw the platform I thought of the slid.
Awesome setup!!
The decked would be too tall and weight 3x or more than the platform I built. It might work on some other trucks tho 🤷🏼♂️
@@TalonSei thanks man!! I just thought about it when I saw this setup. Fire build!!!
👊🏼👊🏼
Can you post a link to that ladder? I've been looking for something just like that for my truck.
Just checked Amazon and unfortunately it’s no longer available.
@@TalonSei too bad. Thanks for looking though. Right now I'm just hauling around small Little Giant ladder, and that thing takes up a ton of space. I like how flat that one gets.
pretty awesome set-up...still prefer the tacoma tho :)
Why not get a Sherptek custom flat bed for your Kimbo?
That would be 20-25k and I couldn’t go back to a normal truck once something like that goes on.
@@TalonSei, that is true, but think of all the space!

More about the convenience. I can take the camper and platform off the truck in about 10 minutes.

You selling the Tacoma?? I’m thinking about getting a Kimbo as well!!
I sold the 3rd gen months ago
@@TalonSei what are your thoughts on the max air vent with the thermostat?

U def should of put at least three 2x6 long ways to support that
There’s no need to with the foam. I actually don’t need the wood at all but it keeps everything looking complete.
Nice rig. Has your Tundra suspension or shocks been modified? What tires are those? Thanks.
Pretty close to factory with just a little extra height and stiffer rear spring to handle weight - ruclips.net/video/xxi-tsScH3s/видео.html
10:19. Hahaha he said jack@ff
I was looking for this comment lmao.
Man it looks better on the tacoma. Maybe because the Tundra is bigger.
This doesn’t look solid man!
It’s incredibly solid 2,500 miles and counting on this setup with about 300 of those miles being off road.
Aaaaah my man long wait end todays kimbo on on 2024 ❤🫡🫡 that look awesome love it bro
