CBI reached out to us following the release of this video to discuss the situation. Per CBI’s request we will share the nature of our agreement. That agreement was that CBI would provide a front bumper and roof rack in exchange for being a part of the build and the videos documenting it. With their failure to deliver the front bumper within the timelines agreed on and the mistreatment of MAK, we opted not to include the part that was installed (roof rack) in the build series. However, we have offered to pay for the roof rack outright so CBI’s original investment is returned.
Great job trying to make things right from your end. Unfortunately, your experience with CBI doesn’t seem to be unique, at least within the Land Cruiser community they have failed to meet many people’s expectations. However, Dissent Off-road seems to consistently get all the love from their customers👌🏼 Wonderful build too 🤙🏼

Your comment about CBI is exactly the treatment I got from them when I ordered mine. It makes me feel better that I wasn’t the only one. Very disappointing.
I’ve noticed that another channel I follow, LLOD, has been a long time user and partner with CBI/Prinsu, and has recently removed them from their channel sponsor list and has switched to other manufacturers. I’ve been curious if that relationship went sour as well.
CBI was less than helpful when I was looking for a bumper from them 4 years ago. Super happy I went with another company and they did not get any of my hard earned money.
Wow, love you guys. I've followed all of your previous adventurers. Suddenly though, it feels like a giant commercial. I hope this new direction works out for you.
