God please help these poor people. I know EXACTLY HOW THEY FEEL! we lost everything in a tornado in 86-it killed my poor father-everything he had worked his whole life for-gone in seconds!! Nature does not discriminate, and she can be brutal. God bless Texas!

When you lose everything, then you remember God. But normally we think we fine without God. We are so lost & helpless without God. But this is just the beginning of hard times in America.
At this point in time, what would it take to precipitate the arrival of hard core regular military assets to arrive and begin helping in these affected areas??

The neighbor who house was saved because it was as he states, "blessed by God". His next door neighbor's house was trashed. Wow. How is it that people can't see that it was just PURE LUCK that his home was spared while his neighbors was demolished by the storm. Otherwise he must agree God didn't want to bless his neighbor's home. Here is a secret... We only have each other on this planet. There is no big, old man in the sky watching out for us... Deal with it.

suzyQ1948 you are being quite dramatic. He has a neighbor and FEMA is there and so on and so forth. If he was dead there would be no need to rebuild, so i say he cameout on the good side.
Where you affected by this storm? Is everyone getting the help they need today? Just curious. I've never seen anything like this, ever, and I'm 70. I just felt so bad for these to seniors, and everyone who had to live through this. I stopped watching these videos because they were giving me nightmares.
I pray that he gets blessed with a new home.

I think we really need a before image to judge this one right. I mean if the tornado magnet next door sustained no damage then this guy's house must have been barely together before the storm hit.

Get in touch with his sister. She can talk him into setting one up. Right about now I bet she could get him to dance on red hot coals barefoot. Tell him it is good for his soles, or something.

I dont understand... what do these people expect when you build your home from wood wrapped in vinyl/plastic and topped with lightweight tin/corrugated steel for a roof? You really think these structures can survive 140 mph sustained winds? Lol. If these people really wanted to live in hurricane prone areas why not build concrete dome houses/buildings? Sure its more expensive than wood and plastic but it'll last longer and insurance should cost less with less yearly maintenance/upkeep.
So This Is Why Family's Live In Brick Houses, NOT Wooden Houses.

I remember when Hurricane Norbert left Phoenix in a huge flood in 2014 but it wasn't anything like Harvey, I can't imagine how devastating it is.

Based on the lack of damage the next door neighbor's tornado magnet displayed I'd have to say that Mr. Rubble pile's house could not have been very substantial even before the storm blew it down.

I felt so much pain for the people of Texas. I just move to Houston from Illinois and was so excited for my new journey. And pray about the move and it went well. The city was in Humble Texas I didn't why God place me there but I felt a Devine connection in my spirit that he was preparing me for something. I lost everything in my apartment but I said God you didn't bring me this far to leave me. Thanking him for my life and I will continue to pray for the people in Houston Texas. God Bless us all over the land.
I live in Port Lavaca, south of where this guy lives. My heart goes out to him, some of the kindest people live out here in the coastal bend of Texas. I hope he gets a new home.
