  • The Zoo is excited to share this new fly-through rendering of Saint Louis Zoo WildCare Park.
WildCare Park is under development in north St. Louis County to become a world-class safari park and conservation center. It is expected to open to the public in 2027.
“We are creating a place where endangered and threatened animals can thrive,” said Dwight Scott, Dana Brown President & CEO, Saint Louis Zoo. “But this report makes it clear WildCare Park will help the regional economy thrive too.”
Planned guest experiences captured in the rendering include:
0:17: A walking safari where guests can stroll right through a kangaroo and wallaby habitat
0:23: An interactive indoor zoo-museum-science center that will use technology like augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) to show guests how animals experience the world.
0:31: An observation tower that will lift guests 11 stories in the air for a sweeping, 360-degree view
0:36: Two 30-minute guided safari truck tours featuring white rhinos, giraffes, zebra, antelope, birds and more.
1:00: A nature adventure area featuring walking trails and playgrounds
1:04: Ten luxury "glamping" cabins with incredible views of the Savanna Safari.
    1:13: Public giraffe feeding
