      Yeah, we had a good stay. We were en route to a family wedding in Macon and laid over a few days in Kirkwood.

    Thanks for the ride! This was always my favorite part of a visit to the zoo, back when I lived in St. Louis as a kid.

    I’m gonna miss the original CP Huntington locomotives when they’re all replaced with those new electric CP Huntington locomotives I truly prefer the original engines with their distinctive three pipe chime whistles

      Same here. Unfortunately all electric trains have fake whistles.

    This is one of the biggest railroads powered by CP Huntington trains from Chance Rides. All gas trains will eventually be replaced with electric trains like the #50.

    They definitely need to replace those bells on the crossings with better ones lol

    • @jayo1212
      @jayo1212 6 месяцев назад

      And fix them so they don't stop before the train has cleared the crossing...

      Most of the bell are actually fire alarm bells for some reason they should be more like the bells at the National museum of transportation in st louis

    I been to some zoos the steam locomotives are only 4-2-0 they make them look a little weird. If I Designed a locomotive it will be a 4-4-0.

    I've seen this engine at numerous zoos and amusement parks, but is there a prototype of this engine? Just wondering

      The first engine ever built by this company operated at a Kansas amusement park until it shut down in 2006. It is now in the hands of a private owner.

    I don't like that electric engine at all

    • @davidng2336
      @davidng2336 8 месяцев назад +1

      Unfortunately it’s the only engine made by this company now. They discontinued making gas engines not too long after the first electric engine came out.
