That auger doing the digging won't last long hitting it with a hammer to clear it, rig a rod to push the muck out from above!!! Also empty it into a wheelbarrow so you don't need to handle it more than necessary!
I've watched a lot of these well digging videos as I want to dig one myself, this one seemed very confusing to follow, lots of different processes.

This will only work in an area where the soil and subsoil is soft, any rock or hard ground you need another way to do it.
