I love how they changed Nora from old Nora. Like old Nora joined the CCPD because her dad disappeared but this Nora has the support of both her parents. I love the Flash Family.

I'm glad they're keeping with the theme that this version of Nora is different from the other Nora...and she's following in her mother's footsteps of being a reporter. I sure do wish one day she'll get her ability to reverse time.
Honestly why do the kids of Barry Allen and Iris West need to half the same jobs. In Season 5 she did it because her father did it, she looked up to Barry because she never met him and heard all the amazing things.

This version of Nora was so different responsible cautious and very determined.
This explains so much she became a reporter and is like her mom which is explains this different version attitude while the original nora was more immature, irresponsible , and pure reckless.

I think a huge part of it is due to the absence of Barry in the first Nora's timeline. This made Iris more cautious and restrictive to Nora and so she rebelled and was reckless because she was never given enough freedom as a kid, so now she's making up for lost time. The new Nora however grew up with both parents so she didn't have a reason to rebel since her freedom was probably never restricted. Also you guys have got to remember this Nora is wayyyyy older than the previous one. So with age comes wisdom i guess

Nora switching from being a crime scene investigator to a reporter was an interesting twist, huh? This reminds me of how Zari started off as a hacker/hacktivist, only to become a social media influencer due to changing history.
It makes sense. Nora in S5 did it to be close to a dad SHS never knew, plus she had some friction with her mom because of her dad not being around. Now, she has both parents, so she can be closer to her mother

I truly don’t think we have had a bad episode this season. Yeah some may have been not on the same level as others but take last week ep for instance. Sure there was no action and fights (well the first scene with blockbuster but that’s it) but it made sense. They were honoring a person that was an integral part of their team and to not have an ep dedicated to her would imo be an insult.

Too much focus on other characters when it should be about Flash. Even this Iris time sickness story has been dragging on for long that they completely disregarded it after this episode lmao Flash is training a new speedster girl that he actually gets in the comics while his wife is stuck in time itself 🙃
Is no one on the show gonna point out that Iris clearly is cured from her time sickness if Nora still exists?
I guess we are running on Doctor Who logic of that time isn’t linear. At this point in my life of reading and watching time travel stories, I just don’t question any of the logic. I just run with it.

Best scene of the entire episode ever since the show bought Nora's character to the show I loved the bonding moments between them even though I feel the show messed Nora up by making her a reporter. They could've kept her as a csi & made Bart the reporter of the family. But I guess on the bright side in tv world or I guess flash world with as many times as Barry, Nora & Bart time travel Nora could still take after Barry. She may be a reporter now but there is nothing set in stone.
Why make Bart the reporter? It’s confusing though, she had already come back as the new Nora and introduced Bart in Season 7, so was she already a reporter? I guess it just hadn’t come up? It was also mentioned in S7 or even earlier in this season that the kids visit Barry and Iris from the future all the time, how did he not know already?
But the other Nora grew up without her dad and that's why she followed In his footsteps. This new Nora grew up with her mum and dad so it kind of make sense she became a reporter.
@@alb5801 West Allen family rules so she probably decided to share as little as possible about what's happening in 2049. Being a csi is how other Nora found out she had powers so she told them, this Nora didn't really need to share her career spoiler.....She still did though

2 theory options the sickness iris has did something to iris to keep particle out of her took over Deon as he seemed off the moment he came close to it in the stillforce and got closer to the particle looked little different or maybe other timeline negative still force connection and the real Deon came to Nora with whatever strength he had aswell with no pychical form showing the his body maybe taken over or just reading too much into it and it seemed like as he was struggling as we see when he meet marry it could the iris time sickness trying to take him for power and to prevent interference betraying Barry negative force or sickness or sickness is negative but when he entered the still force it gets stronger than him as it contaminates the stillforce possibly making it negative showing more chaotic and torturous for people there even changing future for evil zoom and godspoeed destroying the city future and high chance it could be negative Deon thawne as not a speedster anymore but created his own forces in the other timeline so negative Deon could try and take over our Deon and anchor it the main timeline and support thawne learning from past wanting to get rid of Barry's interference and ruin his life taking away iris and might try to contaminate other forces giving thawne speed again as the negative was gone from him but the normal speedforce isn't restricted so he may try and corrupt Nora to his negative sister for thawne or the sickness is sentient evil either way edit extra thought what if it is the reverse Deon causing sickness and when Deon tried to help it got worse making cracks to the power her treatment in still force giving time to build up strength making it more powerful causing new symptoms iris has like measles can come in form of cold but be much more dangerous and when he figured more out and tried particle in iris to track her like opening the door to put it in her it got into him there for his disappearance and sometimes it's Deon at least partly at the time like it's taken over the still force showing more dangerous environment and he went to barry for help but maybe it wanted him too and allowed him leeway for that to happen rather than pulling him sooner but when he gets into still force he starts to slowly loose control and when the pause happened with him it took over so he mustered energy to bring nora knowing the bond of family should help as it wanted Deon to bring Barry to prevent interference and maybe find particle for itself but Deon managed to get enough energy leftover to pull nora to save Barry to allow him to stop the disease or reverse Deon
I haven’t seen the last couple of episodes, but I’ve suspected something’s been “off” with Deon for awhile now. I forget which episode triggered that feeling for me, but it gave me the sense that something sinister was afoot with him.

Now since I watched the finale, it all makes sense now, the negative still force was possessing deon just so he could trap barry, I know we all thought that why would deon go to nora if he wanted barry trapped.

I really like Nora’s character now but I feel like Bart has the same personality that old Nora had or is that just me? So Bart isn’t my favorite but he is Jordan Fisher so he automatically gets a pass lol. But what I don’t get is why Nora has to be either a CSI or a reporter. Like why does she have to follow in either of her parent’s footsteps? The whole point of growing up and being an adult is so you can make your own path away from your parents but still think of the life lessons they’ve taught you so you can ultimately make the right decision like going into a profession that you’re passionate about. Nora is probably passionate about being a reporter but I think it would’ve been better if she choose a different career away from her parent’s legacy. That’s how she’ll grow into her own person. But that’s just how I see it and Bart is more likely to have a different career path from his parents anyways considering his eccentric personality and being kind of like the rebel of the family. (But not in a villain type of way obviously.)
Two questions:1)When he saw the future, did he see what Caitlin was up too?. 2)Does he see how the CW ends 😊since they basically axed all but 3 shows that is associated with DC. Just asking

@@herodesigns6655 that’s tricky as that could have happened. I think future Barry would have stepped in and prevented it somehow if he knew it would mess things up. Plus I think with a Flashpoint you deliberately have to change what’s going on (Barry saving his mom and Thawne with Armageddon and those events) but here Nora was forced to help her dad so it left her with no choice.
Why don’t they have kids already and stop playing mommy and daddy with future kids that may not exist if they don’t start having them?

They explored it in season 5 with Spencer Young, the blog the reporter that was flirting with Nora. They were w/ each other. Then in her backstory, it seems like her BF was probably actually her GF.
I know I already left a comment but this is a different comment. I wonder did Iris push Nora into becoming a reporter without Nora realizing it in the future. Part of this scene bought me back to the first espiode of season 5. The reaction of Iris finding out Nora was a CSI she looked hurt but here all Barry cares about is Nora happiness & that she's safe. Which should have been Iris reaction to. I get new timeline thing but shouldn't some of Nora still be parts of Barry too. To me season 5 & this season the show is in now season 8 are by far the worst season for me where Iris is concerned at. I hope next season they give her a better storyline for the show. No! I'm not a Iris hater. Just because I don't like particular storylines doesn't I mean I hate on a certain character. It is how show decides to potray them. So don't nobody come my way cursing at me or calling me names. I won't hesitate to report you if you do so. You can leave comments & voice opinions & be polite.
…I mean. It’s possible Nora and Iris are just closer than Nora and Barry. We saw it even in S5-they formed an instant connection even despite the friction of their now-erased future. With both parents in the picture, and no reason to pursue a career just to chase after a dad she never knew (because, in this new timeline, she DOES know her dad), her being closer to Iris and pursuing a similar career makes a lot of sense
Nora in s5 only became a CSI to feel closer to Barry. Iris wouldn't push her kids to do a career path they don't wanna do.
iris only looked hurt because her being a CSI was just more of a confirmation that she wanted to be with Barry more than her and when she found that out, Nora had already started being all distant.
@@hcxon026 I don't know what the show would have her character do & not do. I mean show did have Iris take away Nora powers & lie to her about who her father really was. Her face to me said it all when Nora told her she was a csi in season 5. The show could have let her a better reaction besides it does happen in real life sometimes parents do push their dreams on their kids. Plus Iris had the knowledge that Nora did hate her in the future she could've took steps to make sure it didn't happen. Just because they connected & made up in the present doesn't mean it was a sure thing that their bond healed in the future. Don't get me wrong I don't dislike Iris character but her character isn't no saint either.

Here's another example in this espiode but it's not in this scene during season 5 when Nora took an interest in Spencer Young Iris told Nora uh, no but when Barry saw glimpse into the future seeing Nora married to a woman he didn't mind. You can't really blame that part on Nora being closer to Barry. But on the flash show the future is always changing especially given how many times Barry Nora & Bart time travel so there is a chance she won't stay a reporter. This whole espiode for me bought back all the ways Iris was a horrible mother to Nora & what makes it more sad I felt show was doing a disservice to Iris character. To me the show basically said without Barry she a bad mother but with Barry she's a good mother. There are plenty of good single parents out there in the real world.
I love the actress but I do not love the character she is playing. Wish they would have kept with the comics and had the speedster twins Dawn and Don or whatever their names are.
