I love how they changed Nora from old Nora. Like old Nora joined the CCPD because her dad disappeared but this Nora has the support of both her parents. I love the Flash Family.
I'm glad they're keeping with the theme that this version of Nora is different from the other Nora...and she's following in her mother's footsteps of being a reporter. I sure do wish one day she'll get her ability to reverse time.
Honestly why do the kids of Barry Allen and Iris West need to half the same jobs. In Season 5 she did it because her father did it, she looked up to Barry because she never met him and heard all the amazing things.

I think a huge part of it is due to the absence of Barry in the first Nora's timeline. This made Iris more cautious and restrictive to Nora and so she rebelled and was reckless because she was never given enough freedom as a kid, so now she's making up for lost time. The new Nora however grew up with both parents so she didn't have a reason to rebel since her freedom was probably never restricted. Also you guys have got to remember this Nora is wayyyyy older than the previous one. So with age comes wisdom i guess

I truly don’t think we have had a bad episode this season. Yeah some may have been not on the same level as others but take last week ep for instance. Sure there was no action and fights (well the first scene with blockbuster but that’s it) but it made sense. They were honoring a person that was an integral part of their team and to not have an ep dedicated to her would imo be an insult.

2 theory options the sickness iris has did something to iris to keep particle out of her took over Deon as he seemed off the moment he came close to it in the stillforce and got closer to the particle looked little different or maybe other timeline negative still force connection and the real Deon came to Nora with whatever strength he had aswell with no pychical form showing the his body maybe taken over or just reading too much into it and it seemed like as he was struggling as we see when he meet marry it could the iris time sickness trying to take him for power and to prevent interference betraying Barry negative force or sickness or sickness is negative but when he entered the still force it gets stronger than him as it contaminates the stillforce possibly making it negative showing more chaotic and torturous for people there even changing future for evil zoom and godspoeed destroying the city future and high chance it could be negative Deon thawne as not a speedster anymore but created his own forces in the other timeline so negative Deon could try and take over our Deon and anchor it the main timeline and support thawne learning from past wanting to get rid of Barry's interference and ruin his life taking away iris and might try to contaminate other forces giving thawne speed again as the negative was gone from him but the normal speedforce isn't restricted so he may try and corrupt Nora to his negative sister for thawne or the sickness is sentient evil either way edit extra thought what if it is the reverse Deon causing sickness and when Deon tried to help it got worse making cracks to the power her treatment in still force giving time to build up strength making it more powerful causing new symptoms iris has like measles can come in form of cold but be much more dangerous and when he figured more out and tried particle in iris to track her like opening the door to put it in her it got into him there for his disappearance and sometimes it's Deon at least partly at the time like it's taken over the still force showing more dangerous environment and he went to barry for help but maybe it wanted him too and allowed him leeway for that to happen rather than pulling him sooner but when he gets into still force he starts to slowly loose control and when the pause happened with him it took over so he mustered energy to bring nora knowing the bond of family should help as it wanted Deon to bring Barry to prevent interference and maybe find particle for itself but Deon managed to get enough energy leftover to pull nora to save Barry to allow him to stop the disease or reverse Deon
I haven’t seen the last couple of episodes, but I’ve suspected something’s been “off” with Deon for awhile now. I forget which episode triggered that feeling for me, but it gave me the sense that something sinister was afoot with him.
Now since I watched the finale, it all makes sense now, the negative still force was possessing deon just so he could trap barry, I know we all thought that why would deon go to nora if he wanted barry trapped.
I really like Nora’s character now but I feel like Bart has the same personality that old Nora had or is that just me? So Bart isn’t my favorite but he is Jordan Fisher so he automatically gets a pass lol. But what I don’t get is why Nora has to be either a CSI or a reporter. Like why does she have to follow in either of her parent’s footsteps? The whole point of growing up and being an adult is so you can make your own path away from your parents but still think of the life lessons they’ve taught you so you can ultimately make the right decision like going into a profession that you’re passionate about. Nora is probably passionate about being a reporter but I think it would’ve been better if she choose a different career away from her parent’s legacy. That’s how she’ll grow into her own person. But that’s just how I see it and Bart is more likely to have a different career path from his parents anyways considering his eccentric personality and being kind of like the rebel of the family. (But not in a villain type of way obviously.)
