That gave him the deep connection to the speed force only. At that time only the speed force existed. It wasn’t until later that the still force came to be when the speed force was revived. Obviously, here Barry is doing the same through meditation. He’s getting that speed force deep connection plus with the still force. Barry’s vision of the past and future is more amplified due to him using the still force as well.

It's less future sight though and more super super calculator. Unless he's referencing something else.
