    Quality ammo from a known manufacturer. Ammo problems make for a long day. And quality magazines.

      Great point. Of course when you’re running H&K’s you already have quality magazines, but yes, crappy ammo choices are the leading cause to failure points. I should have mentioned that.

    My only issue training wise is the NO BRACE recommendation for MP5 class guns. I have HKPDW braces for mine as well as SBT5KA type for my k-model and PDW. With an unpredictable ATF gone rogue, I'm still leary about SBRing anything, plus I've got a good amount of practice time now using the sling tension method of fire with both weapon sizes and would hope that's also course included. Sir, what is your opinion of the Grayguns modified control lever and sear pin SRT kit? I installed it on my USP compact and USP tactical and haven't had any problems, but don't want show up to a training and make our beloved HK look bad (especially if Glock fanboys might be there).
    Also, the shirts are badass. Out of thousands of RUclipsrs I've seen selling shirts of the years this is the first time I've ever wanted one. They need to make a date code shirt with KG! (first year of Mk 23).

    • @teufelshundtactical
      @teufelshundtactical  4 месяца назад +3

      I think the SRT kit is a good upgrade, but only if you are well trained enough to always be going to reset when firing. I walk the line of shooters in each of my courses and see enough fingers coming all the way off the trigger (until we focus on that specifically) to prove to me that most shooters are not getting the benefit of such a kit, especially in a body alarm response type situation, where instead they're drawing as fast as possible and just crashing on the trigger.
      As for the t-shirts, it's all due to the excellent creativity and support from my buddy Kevin at doworkdorlife.com and yes, he can create that custom shirt for you.

    Ken Havkathorn from Wilson Combat got some flack over his mentioning of flashlight attachments on pistols , I would like to learn proper training and firearms etiquette in regards to that so I don’t flag someone or wrongfully aim my firearm at someone who isn’t a threat when in an area that’s dark or night time . I will definitely buy a nice hand held light this month .

    • @teufelshundtactical
      @teufelshundtactical  4 месяца назад +4

      Indeed. When people are not familiar, comfortable or proficient with hand-held light techniques, and only have a light mounted to their pistol, its just a recipe for failure. That's why our advanced courses, which spend significant time on discussion and practical application of hand-held and then weapon mounted techniques, are so popular.

      I don’t run streamlight products. You’ll have to check with specific holster manufacturers to find options. Another option is to take the measurements of your light. If it ends up being smaller than something like a X300, you should be able to use a holster designed for the X300.

    • @teufelshundtactical
