I'm glad I watched this because I wanna go from blonde back to brown too and I was about to ruin my hair. I now know why Everytime I did I couldn't get the result I wanted because I didn't fill it in. I'm probably the last person in the world to learn this lol ! Oh well at least I know now. Buy a wig and over time, notice if you prefer brown hair on you.

I have been doing my own hair for several years. I'm also another person that has stopped bleaching my hair and have gradually gone dark by first using a
dark blonde demi permanent box shade. Then using warm brown shades, gradually getting darker. At present, I have a demi permanent dark red brown shade. My dark brown natural colour is starting to grow back now. Healthy and shiny unnoticeable regrowth compared to the bleached blonde damaged lengths. I'll not be bleaching my hair again! X

thank you!!! there is no need to feel guilt or shame. My old hair stylist didn’t let me go brown when I asked him to do it so I did it myself. Like i know i spent all this money and bleach on my hair but i’ve changed my mind now you know? You can either ask them to do it or let them know you’ll do it yourself. If you’re going completely natural then you won’t need touch ups, so you technically won’t be breaking up with your stylist. As long as you don’t mess up 😂

(Edit: I wanted to talk about the box dye- yes it is very good for people on a budget and since it is cheap it's not gonna be the best for your hair. But only use professional hair dye if ur a professional bc you could end up ruining your hair. But just in general be careful when dying your hair and know the risks and read the directions very well.)

Hairstylist bleached my hair and put on it kind of cold toned dye. I didn’t like the outcome so i bought light brown box dye and dyed my hair a few weeks ago. As you said earlier it was quite uneven and had green tones when it washed out a little bit. My question is, do you think that if i buy some kind of orange/redhead box dye, dye my hair with it and then put on the light brown box dye it’ll come out okay? For the record i now have a redhead-blond kind of color with some green undertones.

I should’ve done this first. But I’ve dyed brown I’ve blonde before and it’s always worked. Maybe cause I’ve always chosen a reddish brown. This time I didn’t and it’s not green, it’s like grey. It literally looks intentional but I don’t want it 😂
