very impressed......I'm going to do this on a friend of mine but her hair is SO coarse and thick. I like the olapex idea.....I just need to do some foils around her face but going to do this same formula. Thanks :)
Very impressive, where do you live?! Because I'm in South Florida and NO hairdressers ever try this hard, work this hard to give the customer what they want or are nearly as knowledge and patient as you were. Kudos to you!;
@@CourtneyBStylisteducation So is the formula printed on the video what we SHOULD use or is that what YOU used and then had to go back w/ 6N/6NA to tone down? You say "a little bit of 5RR" and it shows .3 5RR on screen --- so I guess my question is, if you were doing it again - what is the formula you would use now knowing that it pulled too much red? ;) Does that make sense?! :-P LOL
Without me going back and watching the video I since there was to much red I would just add less red. If I added .3 of an ounce maybe just .1. When I comes to reds, a little can go a long way!
Love this video! I followed what you did in this vid at home on my blonde hair & it came out great. But my question is, how am I supposed to retouch this color once it fades? Unfortunately I wasn’t thinking and used Igora vibrance TONER for the brown color. Not sure what method I should do once the brown fades out 🥲
Hi! Just came across your video. The outcome looks fantastic. I was wondering if it’s possible to go from mid brown with lots of highlights to something like your outcome here. Thanks heaps 💕
I would have done reverse highlighting. In other words, do low lights to blend with her already blond hair. That way you don't double process, she gets her natural color and when it starts to grow out, it will look very natural.
I think you are confused about what I did. I did no relighted the hair after the filler. That was Olaplex #2 I used to keep the blonde I wanted to leave out to stick to the foil and get a treatment. I used her existing blond as her blonde.
You can try that too! I have bad luck with Saran Wrap because I can never stop it from sticking together. It’s pretty comedic. So I don’t even try. Lol
HELP PLEASE! I wanna dye my hair brown and I bought a bleaching kit. I need to dye my hair to cover the gray? Do I dye brown first or use bleaching cap and bleach first then dye?
What would happen if you did 6a instead of 6na ? Would it become alil to cool then desired ? Also what if you decided to do 6n with 6a instead ? Would it be less warmth ?
I put bleach in my roots for 5 min thinking it would lighting my hair a small bit but turned it red orange, the rest of it is very blonde, I just need my roots back to natural brown wit no red 9r green can u please help me
My suggestion is to see a stylists. I can not give you advice on something I can not see for my self. I wouldn't use green though. It may seep on to your lighter blonde a make it muddy.
How can I go from light blond highlights to this golden blond ? Can I just add some color over them? The stylist who did my hair did an amazing job I just wanted golden highlights though 😢
If you contact your stylist all she would have to do is apply a more golden toner. That’s an easy fix! Trust me, your stylist would rather have you let her know and give her the opportunity to make it what you want than to have to try to do it yourself. 😊
You must be new here. If you’re watching a video I put of a faster speed it may look like it but I assure you I am not. However if it annoys you, your welcome to watch free education elsewhere. Have a great day!
Simply gorgeous! I'm so impressed. Your clients are very lucky! ❤️
Thank you your so sweet!

The color is STUNNING. I am.TOTALLY confused with the formula.
Cynthia Lopresti thanks! What about the formula are you confused about?

Omg I love it, nice color, I was just looking to do something like this to my hair thank you so much subscribing for sure ❤️
Yay! Thank you!
Hey Courtney!🤓
Really liked the outcome! Well done! 👍

Without seeing it’s hard to days. But you you were to screen shot her hair and bring to your stylist, they could better let you know. 😊

Love this color combo. Instead of the extender - would a clear cellophane have done the similar finish? (Just a thought)
You can try that too! I have bad luck with Saran Wrap because I can never stop it from sticking together. It’s pretty comedic. So I don’t even try. Lol
Can you suggest a different brand with the same formulas? I can’t get redken thanks
Any professional demi liquid color you have available to you. But formulas will differ.
if you dont have olaplex to apply to the already blonde hair in the foil, what could you use ??
You could also use just your favorite conditioner!
A toner:)
Hi. How long did you leave on the toner? Thank you 😊
To long a go to remember but since we were going darker it would have been 15-20 minutes.
With the first foil you used where you put the olaplex can you also use conditioner instead? its been a minute since ive practiced..
Of course! You just need something to help it stick to the foil.
HELP PLEASE! I wanna dye my hair brown and I bought a bleaching kit. I need to dye my hair to cover the gray? Do I dye brown first or use bleaching cap and bleach first then dye?
Do none of that. Plz See a professional!
@@azhaircountess9798 I would if I could, need to spend the money I have on my bills and special dog shampoos and meds my baby needs!
I would definitely not bleach at home. If you have to color brown at home, stick with your same level at a neutral (N) tone.
What would happen if you did 6a instead of 6na ? Would it become alil to cool then desired ? Also what if you decided to do 6n with 6a instead ? Would it be less warmth ?
Yes, straight Ash is stronger than the NA depending on the color lines you are using of coarse.
And what if she was lighter towards the regrowth, would you still carefully apply the darker base on to it after filling the hair ?
As in highlights from roots to ends? I would still do the same procedure. 😊
wow im a blonde id love tht change 👏👏
I actually would've gone all of the way up and work all of the way down!😁
Ma i know te purpose of applying olaplex and can we alter to conditioner pls explain🙏
I used olaplaex so she her hair would get the treatment she needs at the same time. But yes you can definitely use conditioner instead.

Beautiful! I love it!
Thank you! 😊
Does it always turn out red tint like?
Depends on how you formulate. She wanted this tone. If your client does not, then you either would use less or none at all.
Have no idea what you said after the 9RB (even though i backed it up to listen to 3x's)....all I kept hearing was ...."something" gloss...
Mara Rose sorry about that. I say “in shades gloss”
I put bleach in my roots for 5 min thinking it would lighting my hair a small bit but turned it red orange, the rest of it is very blonde, I just need my roots back to natural brown wit no red 9r green can u please help me
