Bay area queer country band Secret Emchy Society plays their tune "Lavender Fields" at The 5 Spot in Nashville as part of their Official AMERICANAFEST Showcase on September 21, 2024. Leader Cindy Emch wrote this song as a tribute to her friend Patrick Haggerty of the band Lavender Country, who released the first queer country album back in 1973.
