Why is it that all Audi look the same as flagship audi what happend to individual design language
how come this 2018 a4 has a digital speedometer but every other one i see doesnt ( they have glass)
Late reply but for others that may see this, the digital speedometer is the virtual cockpit package
By the way the civic has had most of these technologies since the 2016 model year which came out in 2015. Can’t understand what’s the buzz.

Anyone drive these all digital dashes with polarized glasses??
I've had no issues with the polarization. You may actually see more interference with the dash controls (like temp. readout) and HUD than the dash.
Doesn't mess with the dash, but it really messes with the heads up display
Why do you guys have to constantly explain these everyday car technologies like we don't know anything. Come on, pretty much everyone watching this channel knows exactly how ACC works, we don't need a 1 minute lecture on it. We are not school kids....

I like the new audis but cannot get over just how little effort they put into integrating that screen into the dash. that is some bush league laziness.
One 7 Decimal 2 Eight It’s positioned that way for ergonomics. On my Prestige Trim with HUD and Virtual Cockpit it’s realistic to have a better integrated dash. On lower trims without those other navigation screens you’re forced to look away from the road to see directions.

I don't care about why it's there. it looks like shit. I have driven many vehicles with screens and it is not hard to use them. it looks like the engineers took a tablet and plopped it on the dash and called it good which is fine...for a camry. not fine for a luxury car. it is a huge reason I am not going with audi and staying with porsche. if I am paying that much I want the car to look like there was thought put into it instead of none at all.
Pretty much everything is very well thought out in Audi A4 B9, like the gear shifter or door handle. As Ashwin Narasimhan said, dash is there because of best ergonomics, not laziness.
teksgeroi rofl. the gear shifter or door handle? are you serious? those two better be easy to get to. they've only have decades to figure it out. it is laziness that the screen is on the dash. it looks sloppy. and there is no reason for it not to be integrated into the dash.
Why all the fuss most all cars have these features like Audi doing something new 😒
