I was born and raised in Chicago, but after working 12 years in the financial Industry regulating the futures and options markets at the CME/CBOT I decided to pursue my passion fishing professional tournaments and left my full time corporate job. In watching you fish, I have this comment. I'm sure the jig is great, but in my opinion, your swim jig success is you. Your casting, pitching, and skipping the bait into key spots is the deal. Great job, and thanks for sharing the video.

Looking forward to getting my hands on some of these. My home lake is rocky with sparse grass on the flats and points. Lake gets a ton of pressure and I think even a standard finesse swim jig is overpowering. I haven't been let down by core tackle yet! Keep it coming Matt. Thanks

Welp, these jigs catch fish for sure. The guilty pleasure looks great in the water BTW. Gotta get some more colors now 😊. Body roll with a Zako is pretty nice. 👍

Had a 2lber slurp up a senko off some mats like a topwater today. Blew up the drag, was too loose and he ran to cover n popped me off. Whacky is my go to
@@JamFlexx that hurts doesn't it but we learn to be ready. I picked up 2 higher retrieve reels this year after having the biggest spotted bass of my life charge at me and shake off within 12 ft of me because I couldn't get the slack out of my line fast enough. Now I have to learn to slow down my retrieve. Better luck next time.

Great video Matt and a very good looking swim jig! I really hope a local specialty tackle shop I go to here in Ontario Canada brings them in as he brought your swimbait hook and the hover rig hooks in. They were expensive being the F/X and all but I had to get them based on aeeing you use them and the success you have with them. The chain of lakes I fish are very similar to your water and I plan on using a swim jig a lot this year! Thanks again and crossing my fingers I can gdt my hands on a couple of your swim jigs this summer!

I just ordered 6 of them in 1/4 oz I love that it is a smaller than most other swim baits I have always felt Bates need to be just a little smaller for Michigan

For river smallmouth fishing, do you recommend going with the 2/0 or 4/0 hooks on the core tackle swim jigs? Looking to order a couple
4/0 is a standard size

That must be a great feeling to have that jig come together like that. It’s a good looking jig and that 2/0 hook option is great to see. The 2/0 would be great for the Little Dipper I would think. I’ll be ordering some for sure.

Last weekend, fish over here in the northeast were chasing chatterbaits and eating the magdraft for me. I was expecting the same today. Couldn't find a bite, the sun comes out. Fish were in beds, wasn't expecting and or prepared for it. Had one hover rig and paired it with a berkley gilly. Got the buck but not big momma 😂.

Good video and I do plan to get some when available. I’m impressed with the hook up rate and it looks like it’s in the roof similar to the ozark. I fish the river by Wisconsin Rapids so please let some of those fish swim downstream 😊

Lost 6 fish yesterday on a swim jig. Can’t wait to try these. Any tips on increasing hookups? It was extremely windy and I was throwing a blue gill patters and couldn’t see the bite.

When I went on the website it looked like the skirts had a few less strands and were a little thinner than other swim baits on the market. If that is so, then, I won’t need to thin them out myself once I get them and start using them. I already use the tush and love them. The other reason I bought them is because they are based on modifications to the tush swim bait jigs.
i noticed 3 different size for the swim jig what you take on situation where a 2/0 will be better than a 4/0 and also how a 3/8 vs 1/4 would be like? new to swim jig
the 2/0 is little go for small trailers
How does it do in heavy grass? Feel like the wire weedguard may grab the grass more. I'll need to try it out!

It’s a standard swim jig hook. It can be thrown on braid but I’m sure it will eventually open up
