Older kit is good but needs looking after properly. Get an auto electrician to go through the Valtra and loadall and replace the battery leads and earth straps. Fit higher capacity batteries if necessary. You won't believe how much better things get. re jump packs, leave it on charge as much as ever possible - you won't hurt it, and it will work a lot better. Its very easy to put it to a side when you've used it and forget to put it back on charge.
Reckon Oliver pops them tyres on that trailer when he is turning the trailer around to face back into the yard. Turning sharp when over laden, is when there is huge lateral pressure on them twin and 3 axle trailer wheels. And i'd say weigh wise ye are well overloaded for that trailer and those little wheels. Proof of the pudding being the tyres popping! Living dangerously!!
That's wet and muddy right enough. Jump pack...much better idea than fashion boots. I bought the cheapest jump pack which Halfords had at the time. It's lasted well for years. Your knife reminds me of one my uncle gave me the first time I was going off on a camping trip with friends many decades ago. I always have it on a lanyard attached to my belt loop when camping. I would hate to lose it.

Sam the popped tyre is from the farmers cutting the hedge rows I saw from the footage that they had been done - the ones the thorns will go straight through tyres - just get a good used one - Happy New Year we are already Jan 1st here in NZ
Lets hope the coming year does you all well. I was thinking, Sheepsheherds have heavy duty polythene covers for the bales they feed out, they have long slits big enough for the sheep to put their heads in and there is no weather spoilage. You need to squeeze your bum a bit harder going through the tight bends. What are we doing? Just crossing our fingers that nothing else goes down with the current storm.
So glad ya'll didn't get stuck in mud & you made it home safely which is the most important. W/ the bales so heavy makes me think about checking tire pressure before you go pick them up. It is definitely miserable being wet. I kept think you need a cup of tea to warm you up. But lol then to try & take off all the layers quickly to go pee. Loved seeing the kids & playing.
I'm sure you know it already but if there's air conditioning in the puma put it on and it will clear your windows or it work's in the jeep none of our tractors new enough to have air con wishing you all a better 2025

Why dont you just get good quality batteries for those machines that are not starting? I live in the middle of Canada where we get 7 months of freezing temperatures with 4 of those months it goes down to -40 and only warms up to -25 and ive never owned a booster pack for the 20 some pickup trucks, tractors, skidsteers, excavators and dump trucks. We do have #2 welding cable booster cables but mostly for emergencys for other peoples vehicles.

@Finchy3732 possibly 8/9 sheep bales a week at least 20 bales a week for cows. Fodder beet well, nearly finished 17tone and he came when 🤔 can't remember. Feeding beet is cheaper than nuts for the sheep. We probably make around 1000 bales a year and use them all

Buy your next jump pack somewhere you can take it back when it plays up. What grand kids you & Oliver have got.
