Fabulous setup! I love the pill bottle hack, have to try that. I cut off the tube part of one of my husband's tube socks (an old holey one) then cut it into smaller strips, then I put one on my left wrist. (I'm right handed) then wipe my brush on that. Did that make sense? I suck at explaining things. Thanks also for the dollar tree cutting board idea. Since one side is matte, I wonder if it has enough tooth to use with watercolor pencils to mix colors. Going to have to see. Thanks for showing us your setup, it's really great!

An old sock! Brilliant! I was considering getting a set of wristbands for that same purpose. As to the amount of tooth, I have never tried that, but I think that is a great idea!! I bet it would hold work with NeoColor II which after sharing them last week, I am considering adding to my Plein Air supplies!

@@ClarkFineArt I bet that would work great for those too! Excellent idea to add them to your kit. I will probably do that, too. My kit is becoming quite maximal, but that's ok. 😁

@@polgara28 it is easy for it to get away from you! Believe it or not, if I got a small plastic “crayon” box I think there would be room to keep it in my small bag! Also since it would be in a sketchbook, perhaps that’s a great place to put all the colors that are not 3* on the lightfast ratings and leave those that are 3 in another box on my desk! Now to find where I put the empty plastic holder I know I already have 🤔

@@ClarkFineArt great idea! Let me know if the box is the right size, and I'll add it to my dollar store list. Love these tips, they are gold. Yeah, I'm the same way, so many little tools and things that I need to organize better. Oh well. Artist problems!

Thanks! I am always curious about art bags content 🤭. I repurposed an Ikea "Forfina" toiletries bag and it is perfect. I love the UV sleeves tip, I didn't know they existed. I will be looking those out. I usually wear a wide winged hat, SP50 all over, sunglasses and I walk under a white umbrella during the summer. I look weird -but this is the fight against pesky UV rays.😂

I have a UV Beach umbrella I bring with me and a cart to tote things that can hold it upright while I sit and paint.

Love, love, LOVE the UV sleeves and travel sponge ideas! I have a UV umbrella that clips to my chair, but the thing is heavy and unwieldy. The sleeves and a bucket hat would solve the problem nicely.
You asked how big is big for a travel set up? I have a cart that I fill, lol! I use that when I go painting at the local state park or camping.
    Great video, thanks for sharing!!!

I you gently crimp the handle of your travel brush, it should hold more securely. Just a tiny pinch with pliers to make it fit a little less precisely. :)

How can we get the stencils you used in the sketchbook? I did not see on her website. Love the video!

PS. I am putting together a Plein Air Maileri Blu palette. Do you have a videonor review abiut how you put yours together? I am havin trouble choosing Yellows and Blues using their online colour chart. I would watch repeatedly to help me choose 🤭😍

The colors I have I was sent (so not my choices) and I did share them in a livestream you can see that here Painting With My New Palette - First Impressions of #MaimeriBlu
ruclips.net/user/livempUd92emdHE?feature=share I will have to have a look because there are colors I want when I’m painting with it that are not there. I will look it over, perhaps I can get the ones I feel I’m missing and do another video updating my palette! I already have a perfect palette to move the collection into. Stay Tuned that might be one to do sooner vs later. They are beautiful paints.
