How tf does this guy put out consistently amazing stuff every frickin month. Most bands need 3 years to make an album and here is Charlie every year making us groove and even cry every single time. You're so damn special Charlie!
Bands have multiple people contributing their ideas -- that alone makes songwriting take longer. When it's just you, yeah, much easier to churn out tracks. The quality inevitably takes a hit, though.
@@wav3st3p16 I'd argue that the quality of the album and the playthrough are both top-notch. Also, many bands work better composing in groups, with different people to throw ideas by. Charlie has to come up with everything himself, imo that's tougher
@@jordanc2844I should've been clearer, the songwriting quality takes a hit. Obviously writing solo or with a band both have their own sets of challenges. From my experience though, the tough part of writing solo is resisting the the tendency to "default" to your comfort zone. Which I don't think Charlie does a very good job at.

really great song. odd that the vibrato looks like he is YANKING the strings around :30 but the recording seems to have much less of that wobbly goodness. not a complaint. just a notation. solid playing, great phrasing. all around the sweet stuff im used to getting from Syncatto. two thumbs up from me!
