I have not heard about a new release coming out so if you can swing it I would suggest buying now. It's a great full function tablet. I will be posting my review video within the next week.
Intuos Pro 2017 says HI..... This older version is perfect. One of the best products, but the NEW one is a nib killer, and on top of that it has many other issues.
Hi david. So I'm considering getting this tablet (used to have the intous 4 large) but I'm aware that Wacom still neglects fixing the loose usb issue. I had this idea that maybe a tech place could disassemble this tablet and solder the usb inside to permanently fix this, but wanted to know your thoughts on if the intous pro medium looks like that could be done by a professional, or if it looks like it would be too tricky?
Jeremiah Woods I have not had any issues with the USB port at all. My connector fits in nice and tight. I mostly use it wirelessly and plug it in when it needs a charge. I had the same issue you did with the Intuos 4. I also read where soneone took a small piece of paper and shoved it in the connector to make it hold better. I hope this helps
Just ordered one today and I was wondering if I'm able to download the software more than once? If somewhere down the road and I change my computer, I want to be able to use those software on my new computer, do you know if thats possible? Thanks
Yes, I believe this is possible. I have a Wacom bamboo Create Pen & Touch that came with one of many programs (Adobe Photoshop Elements), I have switched computers, they give you serial numbers as well...
I am using a mini display cable to DVI adapter that's plugged into the thunderbolt port. You won't regret buying this tablet. Will be recording my full review of this next week.
I'm thinking about buying a Grafic tablet too. This one seems to be great but I don't know much about these devices. The Wacom Intuos Pro is expensive and good software is too. On one page I found that this should give a key with for e.g. Manga Studio 8 and a few other programs. But I've read this on no other page after. So my question is: are there any programs included and how are they?
Hi while yes it is a little on the expensive side they do have a cheaper Intuos model but has less features. It comes with a software bundle that includes Autodesk Sketchbook express, Smith Micro anime studio and a 90 day trail of Corel painter. I have not downloaded any of them as I bought my tablet for Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Hope this helps
Okay, yes it helped me a lot. It would just be too expensive if I had to buy a good software for nearly the same price. I'm going to search for this softwares now and look if they're good and then I can decide wether I should buy it or not. If I don't have to buy a software this price is okay. Thank you!
That is up to you. For me I went with the medium as I wanted the bigger working space and the medium size is the most popular. The small works for most people but that also depends on what you are using it for. If you are using it for drawing you might want the medium
Ordering mine this week! I've checked out many reviews on wacom products and found this was best for me. Just a quick side question, what is the free program it comes with?
It comes with a few free downloads from Corel and Adobe. it will come with a download key although I have not downloaded any of the software. Thanks for subscribing!
Hey dave, im not really sure which one to get, the medium or the small. Which one do you think i should get? I do a lot of digital art pretty much everyday all day, i never usually take my current tablet out but i like to sometimes. I hope you reply, great video:)
I would go for the medium. The small is good for travel but the medium is the better size in my opinion. Also if you use more broader stokes the medium is much better
Hi,thanks for the informative video, could you elaborate about its international warranty. As I want to purchase this in US but I live in India. So I am skeptical to buy or not due to warranty issues, if something happened later, can't repair that in India. Please suggest and let me know your views.
Excuse my ignorance or whatever but why not buy this product instead of buying a very expensive say 27" touchscreen monitor? I already use a 27" monitor and was thinking about buying a touchscreen but wouldn't this device in essence function just as well? Thanks and good job on your part,
I've just purchased the intros Pro Medium. your video was the final review stop before deciding. before this I had seen enough reviews of disappointment with the cintiq and personally felt it wouldn't be worth the price. anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the product David.
bought one of these the other day but i cannot get the tablet driver to work no matter what, really rustrated and i feel like i've tried everything. really disappointed
Sorry to hear that. I would give Wacom tech support a call. I have never had to call them but I have heard nothing but good things about their customer service. What OS are you using?
I just ordered the wacom intuos pro medium as well, can't wait to get a hold of it
abd-elrahman Shebl You will love it. I use mine every day
Omg i feel you, i ordered it too and im so excited!!!!
Art creater Essia One of the best decisions in my life, I do everything with it now, and sculpting is a bless with it instead of the mouse
just bought one from amazon...can't wait to see what this pretty toy can do
You will love it. Thanks for watching my video.
just bought one from BH Video...can't wait to see what this pretty toy can do in Lightroom 5!
Thanks bro, I'm dying to open that box too.
Expecting arrival of my Intuos Pro medium within two days. farewell my mouse.
Congrats on the purchase!
Getting mine's soon! can't wait to buy the medium, thanks for the video!
Thanks David ... have ordered mine ... can't wait :)
Congrats you will love it
Gonna order mine up in a few days after money comes in :)
Just checking out a few vids to see the size, and medium seems perfect!
The medium is the perfect size. My 2nd choice would be the small
I've got mine month ago it's perfect.
Thanks David for the video. It is very helpful! I will check out more of you videos.
Your welcome.
Cynthia I am sure they will allow you to download any software on to a new computer. Might require a call to them but that should not be an issue
Thinking of waiting for the next release, any suggestion?
I have not heard about a new release coming out so if you can swing it I would suggest buying now. It's a great full function tablet. I will be posting my review video within the next week.
Fro Knows photo...cool!!! Great t-shirt!
Just got it. It is night in my country so I'll have to wait till tomorrow :D
You will love it. Congrats.
Hi. There's a lot of people saying that the texture of the tablet is too rough on the nibs. In your experience, how did the nibs last?
Intuos Pro 2017 says HI..... This older version is perfect. One of the best products, but the NEW one is a nib killer, and on top of that it has many other issues.

Hi, would you recommend this tablet for taking notes? I can get it second-hand for really cheap in 2020
That's pretty cool, I have never used one before :)
They are great!
Just ordered one today and I was wondering if I'm able to download the software more than once? If somewhere down the road and I change my computer, I want to be able to use those software on my new computer, do you know if thats possible? Thanks
Yes, I believe this is possible. I have a Wacom bamboo Create Pen & Touch that came with one of many programs (Adobe Photoshop Elements), I have switched computers, they give you serial numbers as well...
hey how did you connect your mac to ur external screen without using an apple TV, and I'm planning on buying this tablet.
I am using a mini display cable to DVI adapter that's plugged into the thunderbolt port. You won't regret buying this tablet. Will be recording my full review of this next week.
Is the wireless kit included? I saw other wacom large unboxing videos and the wireless kit was not included.
Yes is was with mine. I believe all of the Pro series comes with the wireless kit. The previous model had it as an option.
I'm thinking about buying a Grafic tablet too. This one seems to be great but I don't know much about these devices. The Wacom Intuos Pro is expensive and good software is too. Thumbs up for the shirt! also for the tablet
+DBLRedRibbon Thank you
should i go with a medium or large, i am finding this decision difficult (price is irrelevant to me)
That is up to you. For me I went with the medium as I wanted the bigger working space and the medium size is the most popular. The small works for most people but that also depends on what you are using it for. If you are using it for drawing you might want the medium
What's the difference between intuos pro (medium size) and intuos pro special edition?
+CoOqKie M0nst3R The only difference is the special trim on it. Other then that they are the same.
Oh well, thank you, I thought the special edition was better than regular edition (more accessories or anything else)
no worries
what are the programs that comes with it
+ARMED GAMES It comes with some trial programs like Corel but I never installed them or use them as I bought this for Photoshop and Lightroom
using just an intous pen and touch. im thinking of upgrading to an intous pro, but is it worth it?
+Francis Fernandez For me it was as I like having the extra buttons. But if what you currently have works for you then maybe not.
yea but the extra buttons and the dial seems really useful tho
if you are using it completely wireless is there a way to charge the battery
M2gamesandvlogs Clark yes it comes with a USB cable to plug it in
David Spector thanks!
David Spector I am looking getting one now for digital photograph. Which do thing is better the large or the medium and why? Thanks!
+Wydo1 I prefer the medium. To me thats the perfect size for my desk and if anything I would go small over large. The medium is the perfect size.
+David Spector love your tshirt!!!!!
Ordering mine this week! I've checked out many reviews on wacom products and found this was best for me. Just a quick side question, what is the free program it comes with?

Oh, thank you and you're welcome! :)
Does the tablet come with bundled programs? Like corel, photoshop, autodesk sketchbook, anime studio, or nik?
Terra Chang It comes with Autodesk sketchbook express and some trail versions and Corel painter
So are you feeling the medium? Can't decide between the small or the medium.
I love the medium. To me its the perfect size. I you want some more portability with it then go with the small.
Hey dave, im not really sure which one to get, the medium or the small. Which one do you think i should get? I do a lot of digital art pretty much everyday all day, i never usually take my current tablet out but i like to sometimes. I hope you reply, great video:)

David Spector Thanks dude, ill get the medium :)
If I were to rest my hand on the tablet while drawing, would it interfere with anything?
I have not had any issues with that at all. You can easily turn off the touch feature as well.
The small is alright for animation.
Will you please tell me what is the use of outside ACTIVE AREA?
No use just a spot to rest your hand
Hi,thanks for the informative video, could you elaborate about its international warranty. As I want to purchase this in US but I live in India. So I am skeptical to buy or not due to warranty issues, if something happened later, can't repair that in India. Please suggest and let me know your views.
That you would need to need to contact Wacom. I am pretty sure that they would honor the warranty anywhere as there products are used worldwide.
please help me choose between Intuos Pro medium and Intuos ART medium
The intuos pro medium has more buttons to allow you to customize it. The art is a lower end tablet
Haha, and I was looking for a new keyboard...
Excuse my ignorance or whatever but why not buy this product instead of buying a very expensive say 27" touchscreen monitor? I already use a 27" monitor and was thinking about buying a touchscreen but wouldn't this device in essence function just as well? Thanks and good job on your part,
Lets hope you can draw well with your fingers.
i havent got yet though
please answer!!!
does it have hover mode? for the pen
Yes it does. That's how you can move the cursor around the screen
thanks!!,im just new to this :)
is it still worth in 2017 or are there better ones?
I think so. My next upgrade will be a Cintiq but that might be a ways off. I still use mine everyday.
I hope you didn't get the Cintiq, I've heard that it's a nightmare with the touch aspect.
I did not get the cintiq.
I've just purchased the intros Pro Medium. your video was the final review stop before deciding. before this I had seen enough reviews of disappointment with the cintiq and personally felt it wouldn't be worth the price. anyways, thanks for sharing your thoughts on the product David.
+Gordon Bagshaw my pleasure
What is the thing holding your laptop?
+Mr. Ex0tic_D4nny That is my Twelve South Book Arc
Are these buttons programmable to do functions such as Ctrl+z etc
Yes they are you can program almost any keystroke you want
Alright thanks for replying man! Great video
does it come with drawing software?
Alex I believe it comes with a lite version of Corel draw.
Is the medium workable surface as big as an A4 piece of paper ?
Not quite. It is a little bit smaller.
David Spector Thank you
Your welcome
if I do not have a cd port i cannot use the tablet?
+speed12131 All you need is a USB port. Drivers can be downloaded from the Wacom site
+David Spector oh I really appreciate your help

+David Spector excuse me sorry I have another question is this compatible with windows10?

+Cindy Z Yes it will
Sweet, thanks!
bought one of these the other day but i cannot get the tablet driver to work no matter what, really rustrated and i feel like i've tried everything. really disappointed
Sorry to hear that. I would give Wacom tech support a call. I have never had to call them but I have heard nothing but good things about their customer service. What OS are you using?

Mine comes in 2 days *__* !

Can a lefty use this device? Is there any setting for that?
dead_zombies Yes there is a left handed mode. You will just flip the tablet around so the buttons are on the right side.
David Spector Great! thanks :D
