    I've been bitching about tracking since almost forever but god forbid someone talks about what's wrong with this game.

      Same, then the snobs make the counter argument that side stepping has actually been buffed and you're a noob if you keep getting clipped. It might've been buffed, but the overall tracking mechanics have also been changed to where it's just harder to step/walk in this game, which feels like a hate crime considering how offensive it was already designed

    the day I hear a victor complaining about ease of use lmao…

      There's a difference between having an easy moveset like Victor's to characters having stronger mix-up/setups that are easy to apply and win with. You don't win with just simply using b1+2 and d/b4 and running 2 anymore in these ranks.
      Victor isn't the same as he was on release, you actually have to work for your wins unlike before imho

    Don’t underestimate the strength of up2, it can be very effective at giving people a reason to stop sidestepping 😁

      At 5:55 instead of 11 I would recommend trying 2>1> hold forward for PStance. But in the moment it worked better for you to do 11 into grab since they armored

      tiers dont matter when you're under god ranks. you know that.

    • @delusional-lobo
      @delusional-lobo  2 месяца назад

      @raradapapa top tiers do still matter, as it's inherent that certain characters have better tools and stronger mix-ups than others. That's why we tier them.
      If that's your logic, then tiers don't matter in the orange ranks and lower either as players don't know shit from match-ups to combos.

    • @raradapapa
      @raradapapa 2 месяца назад

      @@delusional-lobo top tiers don't matter in a three-dimensional sense. there is still an infinite amount of skill expression that can overcome tiers.
      your conversation is one-dimensional. where mental/outplay/baits/pattern recognition is not in the conversation.
      i understand that kazuya has one of the best oki's in the game, i understand that reina has one of the fastest/farthest advancing safe engage w/ her ff2, but it doesn't stop a low-tier from overcoming those obstacles.
      tier conversations are for games that are unbalanced in a way where the game is virtually unplayable if you do not play the meta. tekken is a game where you can win in ****any**** situation.

    • @delusional-lobo
      @delusional-lobo  2 месяца назад

      @raradapapa yes I can agree that skill expression can define a strength on the pilot's knowledge of the characters. But that doesn't mean players can't define the weaknesses and strengths of said characters and the advantages or disadvantages they bring to a match-up.
      Tiers are there to showcase the strengths and weaknesses of said characters. Even if you add your own "expression," it doesn't change the fact of the skill sets the characters have. It's already a proven statistic that a character with a stronger set of tools will have an advantage; winning more games because of their tools. It's why you'll see Drag and Feng at top 8 in tournaments, it's why you'll see Drag and Feng in God rank so often.
      Now I'm not saying these characters will guarantee a win, they just have stronger tools that give them an edge that characters may not have.
      That's why players make tier lists to define which character has the better overall toolsets to win games.

    There's so many bugs in this game. And I tested the tracking and yeah it's better just to block. Weird in t7 my problem was I wasn't side stepping enough lol also why is jin and kaz ff2 tracks and he's just punching straight
