Lee mains are pretty much required to get an ethernet cable and if you don‘t have an own router, get a wi-fi repeater, trust me. I was a beginner Lee main at the launch of Tekken 8, I‘m now in the orange ranks (Vanquisher). I‘ve only played Tekken online in 6, I only had wi-fi available back then, it was terrible. Now, I can hit just frame moves like Acid Rain with ease, without heat. You can do it too!

If you're looking for beginner guides you really don't need a character specific video. For a character specific video this is among the best, definitely the best one I've seen for T8.
"Your gameplan requires your opponent to press a button" very true and it is why Lee is one of the most difficult character to play at higher level where people are taking less risk and know that weakness
One thing I like to do to take advantage of Lee's strong conditioning is Back2-2 over and over, until they get frustrated and try counter-attacking, which you can take advantage by doing a ForwardForward3-4 which is a luncher.

Its a very very specific timing, if you get hitman stance 3 youre too early, if you get b33 but they dont pick up then youre too late. Im coming out with a combo video tomorrow so if youre interested then that should help!
Dont give him your health, extending when you dont need to is what lee punishes you the most for. Pay attention to your life lead and if you had the lead make them come to you and take risks, all of lees plus moves are highs you can duck, and all his fast ch tools are highs or lows other than b4 but thats 21 frames. But tbh its the beginning of T8 every character is broke rn. Hope this helps
Hopefully they don't nerf his ws23 lol.. Its only a launch with heat and even then the ws23 into HE combo only really works on bigger characters and most males.. females and smaller males are kinda iffy 😢 it barely works for me lol
@@donkofarquad8602 I also think if something is going to nerfed it will be his ws2,3, mainly cause the problem is the damage you get off it is too significant. Right now, you want to hold off on using heat to get a meaty ws2,3 launch, it's just that good to have. His heat state isn't as crazy as some of the other characters, since it's normally play but made easier and if you're skilled enough with his just frame timing, really it's just an extension of normal Lee. So because you can afford to not use heat until you absolutely need it, such as with ws2,3. His wall carry is already good enough to not have to use heat burst to extend combos.
Depends, if the opponent is ducking 444 i use 434, if they jab me out of it or step and launch i use 433, its a canned mind game that all ends in the same reward as long as you dont make the wrong read

Df2> b4,2,3> f4,1 S! df3,2,3. Super easy combo
*blocks launch punishable move, does acid rain*
Its the lee lifestyle 🌹
But great guide tho, its marvelous!🌹
Can you do the df 4 counter combo
Df4 counter combo? Which one do you mean?
Can you do a tutorial on how to get better at match up knowledge please
Ill work on it 🌹
@@supercamacho774 thank you so much you’re the best
How do u beat Lee. It seems like everything he does is safe. And he has fast lows that lead to half my damn health vanishing
@@supercamacho774 true lol. thanks.
b2nf/nb tutorials?
2:57 "His punishment is EX.....CEPTIONAL" BRUH???? Excellent??
Love u camacho
what if you df1 and they hop kick tho lol
444, and 223, and another df1 will work. or you can just block and punish.
@@supercamacho774 WAAAAAIT
thats just crazy enough to work
That 10f ws is broken, it will be nerfed for sure. Anyway, i feel that lee is already playing tekken 9
Nah it wont get nerfed, if any of his ws punishment is getting nerfed its for sure ws23
Lee has had that move for almost 30 years with almost identical startup. It's not going anywhere. 😆
Do you use machine gun kicks cardinal for the counter hit combo or do you just use the 4,3,4 string for the counter hit combo?
Depends, if the opponent is ducking 444 i use 434, if they jab me out of it or step and launch i use 433, its a canned mind game that all ends in the same reward as long as you dont make the wrong read
