But that’s exactly what is happening with sea cucumbers. In fact, the price of a dried sea cucumber is so high some fisherman are going to extreme lengths to harvest them.

Sea cucumber in my country is good, plenty in stock and it has its season,the village people make alot of money when the season opens. Fair pricing thanka to our fisheries and Government.

In the video's description you said that the sea cucumber is trade as a traditional Chinese medicine, and I've been searching for more information about what kind of illness they're used for. I couldn't find anything, so if you can guide me about this issue, it would be great. You've got a new subscriber!
It's not used as medicine but considered by most ppl as precious food that will benefit your health. In China, dried sea cucumber is always listed in menu alongside with bird nest, shark fin:(, dried abalone in fine dining Chinese restaurants.

Sea Cucumber contains Fucosylated Glycosamineglycan - in China and Asia it is used to treat arthirithis and in Europe to treat certain cancers and blood clots.

Come to Palau sea cucumbers are plenty on the shore.You don't need to go under the sea.And the diving tank no need that rope is full upon getting inro the water

this is so sad😕 extreme fishing of this is dangerous because they help make corals...corals where fish leave keep their eggs and babies.. youre not helping those poops will turn into corals one day so sad many didnt know😣 from #ph
Sea cucumber do not benifit the corals that much so without them it is still stable also you cannot fish these in mass divers have to go down and hand pick them therefore creating enough time for them to stay at high numbers and reproduce

@@benjaminlawrence3386 Cheap scuba setup can actually be made under $100 using oxygen tank, welding regulator, and cheap dakor mouth piece. For refilling, high pressure air pump can be used. It costs around $200 here and it can generate 6000 psi air pressure.
