The VR80 runs, I’m just a desert rat that moved to the Midwest and am still learning all about humidity and how to keep rust away from my gear. I NEVER oiled up my gear in Vegas before storing them…can’t do that here in Missouri. Once I took care of that rust, gun ran as it always had

Yeah still learning how to deal with humidity here in the Midwest after living in Vegas my whole life

I believe there are rust preventatives which are not "oil". Oil will rather dust.
And I wonder if leaving them disassembled and hosing them out with Brakleen right before the match would work.

I ran one of these in illinois with no issues just clean it a lot mine ran 100 with aa 1350
