No one has ever replaced Elvis and they never will. thank you great reaction.
He is one of the reasons we have the dance moves that we have today. He destroyed boundaries when it came to "proper" dancing....thats one reasons why his hip moves are so famous! Love this song!!!
When he was on Ed Sullivan show, they would only show him from the waist up.
Elvis is from tupelo Mississippi he learned to sing in church and dance and blues from black folks
Elvis was so poor as a boy, people wouldn’t let him in their house He lived in extreme poverty. But definitely watch “if I can dream” he sang it after the death of MLK and Bobby Kennedy.
Absolutely Elvis' Best Song Ever!! Got to watch the 68' Comeback Special to see him at his Best!
YES GREAT GREAT SONG!
Always moving my heart with his songs
Elvis always brought it 100% Pure talent and energy. Raw enthusiasm. EVERYONE loved Elvis, all colors, races, everyone. THE KING!
50 years ago, unbelievable.
The man had everything.
R.I.P. Mr Presley you'll always be the best.
Never forgotten ❤
Loved your reaction!! Love me some Elvis for along time now. He was AWESOME in concert. 🥰❤🥰
I loved Elvis as kid, watched every single movie, I’ve never seen this! Ty!
That right there is why this great man is the king. 💕💕
I love Elvis. He was one of a kind!!! Greatest ever! King of Rock and Roll!
Way back in 1956, Elvis appeared on The Ed Sullivan Show. Due to his bumps, grinds, and gyrating hips (the reason he was nack-named "Elvis the Pelvis"), the TV cameras only showed him from the waist up. Elvis was a true entertainer and changed the course of music forever.
Elvis grew up in a two room shack that his dad built and on the wrong side of the tracks in an area called Shakerag...love the reaction :)
Elvis had a 6th degree black belt in kempo karate and he would incorporate it into his act. Yes Elvis was a real bad ass.
Love how much you appreciate the King!
He's just as exciting as he's ever been. Long live the King.
Elvis was the greatest!!! I remember him when I was a kid & watched him on TV.
Elvis '68 comeback tour. Classic!
Yep that's his real Everything!! He had rhythm of a black man baby!! He was a BAD MAN
Elvis was definitely a great singer & entertainer! Love how you recognize how great he was!
He was born and raised in Tupelo , Mississippi until about 13 years old then his family moved to Memphis
Correction Tupelo Mississippi
@@marktognetti6354 Omg Ty❤ lmao I can't believe i wrote that, I even proof read it😄
I'm loving your reaction to Elvis as much as his performance!
Elvis had to wear jumpsuits, cause he was so physical he kept splitting his pants on stage 🤫 i'm sure the ladies loved it
I love Elvis Presley! Grew up with my older sister playing music, watching his movies and going to the movie theater to watch Elvis Live from Madison Garden! Been a huge fan all my childhood and my adult life! Never will be another one like the King!! Please listen to American Trilogy Live from Hawaii!! One of my, and so many, favorite songs he performs. You guys will absolutely love it!!
Seriously, who can match that? The charisma alone! What a gift he was.
You said ONE of the best bro, more than that, HE WAS THE KING 👑
The best of all time!!
At that time, early 70s, he was the coolest and sexiest guy in town ( Vegas)!
Great reaction, thank you!
Please react to Patch it up and Suspicious Minds ( same concert).
Impressive and fun to watch!
Btw he was born in Tupelo/ Missisippi, when he was 13 yrs old the family moved to Memphis/ Tennesse, where he lived till the day he died.
Elvis was Gangsta, nobody could man it up on stage like Elvis. Oozed coolness. Remember, this is 50yrs ago 🤟
Elvis was the king of rock. He can wear you out watching him. I love his song A Little Less Talk.
Elvis could sing anything....anyTHING! Nothin’ he couldn’t lay you out flat with! And that was his hair, every last gorgeous strand! The KING rules!
That is a jumpsuit it was one of my favorites...Elvis was a personal friend of mine we got each other he was the best friend i ever had in my life. He didn't judge me and i never ever judged him. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. I loved him like a brother i will never forget him ever i have so many memories of my friend tucked safe in my heart forever. love your reaction videos he was the most genuine man i ever met i was honored to be his friend. He loved to joke around he was very funny loved your reaction .. love from Memphis Tn.
Elvis was into karate, and he was in the army, the hut one hut two....but he conducted his band with his moves.
low rider unlike our president he didn’t puss out of military service. Tank crew.
Bruce Lee and Elvis comes to mind always.
So divine
@@clemcadidlehopper9161 really politics..trying to get away from that by listening to music..ya need to chill buddy..
Biden did too by claiming asthma although he played high school and college football. 😂😂 Both men were Democrats then.
Elvis was born down the road from my house. :-) I was lucky enough to see him live in concert.
Man this is awesome... my dad stood in line 8 hours to get tickets to see Elvis in Jackson Ms.. great show
You are so entertaining in your reaction, you my man are distracting me from Elvis.
To funny, I love it.
He's drumming and ronnie tutt has to keep up with him till he's done.
Dd
Yep, Tim you've got "the moves." This was entertaining to watch! Loved this!
Very nice reaction. Elvis never performed outside the USA except briefly in Canada 1957 so we in the UK never witnessed him live in concert. When I saw the film 'That's The Way It Is' which contained this song in a big London UK cinema in about 1970 the whole audience got up at the end of the film and applauded and cheered for several minutes - just seeing him on film.
That is really cool... I saw TTWII on Finnish TV in 1984 and I was blown away...
I am not surprised and good to hear as he had something indefinably special. Just wish the modern generation would give him a just few minutes of their time.
He did a concert in Vancouver bc we’re I live
Naw it ain't just you. He just get know how to entertain! And yet he's one of the most humble celebrities ever!
The one and only King of Rock and Roll. Elvis is my number one. He was the best looking man God ever put on this planet. Yes, he was an amazing entertainer. He was from Tupelo Mississippi. His family was dirt poor. When he first made it big, he bought his mother a pink Cadillac. Then he bought Graceland (his home) for his mom. He was kind, caring and humble. He would buy complete strangers new cars. Yes, that’s his real hair. However, he did dye it black. I saw him in concert 3 times, including what would turn out to be his last concert here in Atlanta in 1976. I remember exactly where I was and what I was watching on TV, when he passed away. I was 13. You would have thought I lost a family member. Graceland was opened to the public in 1982. A few months before I married in August. When my husband asked, where I wanted to go for our honeymoon, I immediately said Memphis, so I could see Graceland.
I looove his reaction to Elvis P.
Thank you my friend!
i was smiling as much at your responses as i was at hearing Elvis again. I believe Elvis enjoyed watching the reactions of his audience, just watch him. Thank you for your videos, keep on keepin' on. Stay safe!
OMG! Thank you!!!! You have made a 60 year old woman very happy and entertained today!!!
Thank you darling, love your reaction I love watching you ,you have a huge fan here who loves you and thank you for your desire and willingness too be open to and honest about your feelings for the different styles of music and yes I am part of the family. Keep up the great job your doing, forever your fan& friend Brenda C.🌹🌹💖❤️❤️
I grew up in an Elvis fan household and grew up listening to Elvis. My first concert was Elvis in April of 1977. Four months later he was dead. What a loss. If you look back at 50s R&B, you’ll see where he picked up a lot of his moves (I noticed it again last night, watching Jackie Wilson). That, and he incorporated a lot of his karate moves.
I highly recommend anything from his ‘68 Come Back Special.
Love that you love him. He's the best. Elvis Is from Tupelo Mississippi
You're so damn cute watching Elvis 😍I was born & raised in Memphis so Elvis was a big part of my life. I was in the 5th grade when he died. The whole city shut down. I remember it Iike it was yesterday & it was 1977. Enjoy young man! You make me smile 😁
I saw him in concert in 1973 Hawaii n he was great. I have been listening to him since 1956 n still feeling young esp listening to him today
Thank you for playing one of my favorite Elvis songs (my first love 😍)
And he was so generous and a great freind of Muhammad Ali, James Brown, Sammy Davis Jr., Jackie Wilson, B.B. King.
I am cracking up watching you trying to dance like Elvis at the end!! Thank you Tim..I needed this good laugh!! 😂😂😂💕
No one can say he didn't break the ice when it comes to rock and roll and opened plenty of doors for the singers today but he could sing and very easy on the eyes. So cute.
I'm glad I'm not the only one watch Elvis and this concert get the coop pumps
Elvis was born on the 8 January 1935 in East Tupelo, Mississippi, he moved to Memphis, TN when he was 13 years old and lived there until his death on 16 August 1977, Elvis considered Memphis his home town and its interesting cos Elvis had a Memphian accent, but if you listen to his parents they kept their Mississippi accent.
That is his real hair. During concerts, Elvis worked up a good sweat.
Oh ya and he was an 8th degree black belt in karate so he added that to his dancing
There were huge stars in that audience! A very high end concert!
I LOVE that this kid is vibing with late Elvis... wait until you see early Elvis or '68 Trying to Get to You...
Elvis Presley: Greatest Show on Earth.
Guys, something you will appreciate-Elvis had a twin brother-yes he was a twin. Unfortunately his brother passed at birth. He said he could feel him with him a lot if the time.
Great reaction ! And there is so much more....other sides of Elvis. Check "If I can Dream" if you want to hear passionate raspy singing. It is the ultimate peace and brotherhood song.
There’s a reason he is called The King. Super cool without trying with a voice from the angels.
KING
Your reactions are the best because you are really seeing for the first time! Elvis's moves make you crazy too, huh? 😉 Imagine the effect it had / has on women! It's crazy!😆
Elvis the Pelvis. HAD...IT....ALLLLL. Voice, looks, personality, acting, a caring/gifted person. A man who came from a destitute background. He was and will always be the GOAT and king. I went to Graceland last year, very cool being in his home.
He wasn't one of the best, he was the best. Never be beaten ❤
Elvis was born in Tupelo, MS. Then he moved to Memphis.
A white boy with soul....Elvis wasn't just a star he was a whole galaxy
Check out " If I Can Dream " by Elvis from his 1968 TV show, the '68 Comeback Special. Very powerful and soulful song by Elvis!
Hello from England
ELVIS died 2 days before my 12th birthday. I have been a FAN for 44 years - OH MY where have all those years gone.
He WAS and still is my HERO. This is a strong word i use BUT IT'S TRUE. There is no one before, during or since that could match up to ELVIS.
Anything Elvis sang i loved but this song is "up there" with the best.
What was it about "THE KING"
Well here is my TAKE
HE WAS DIFFERENT. As a kid he would wear stylish unusual clothes for the time and he got bullied at school. The others were jealous
HE SANG LIKE NOBODY ELSE
HE HAD THE WIGGLE AND THE JIGGLE LIKE NOBODY ELSE
HE HAD THAT SWAGGER
HE HAD AN "AURA"
THE JUMPSUITS
THE ENTERTAINMENT HE GAVE WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE
I pity the people who had to leave the room to visit the BATHROOM. What did they MISS Ha Ha
It is so cool 2 c ur reaction while watchin’ performers dat u didn’t grow up with. Yet ur urge 2 want 2 watch n’ learn. I was 17 yrs. old when Elvis passed away. I grew up watchin’ Elvis n’ Shirley Temple. Huge fan of both of ‘em n’ of cause Our Beloved Prince. When my grandaughter was two years she would sit w/me n’ watch their movies. I believe in learnin’ all types of music. So keep watchin’. Watch Prince’s I Would Die 4 U, Cream n’ Get Off n’ there’s a lot more.💜
I have not laught for month s I’m I tears love Elvis u guys are awesome thank u
This concert was recorded in Las Vegas. They dressed up for concerts in Vegas back then.
That's his hair!! Everything about him was real. He was from Memphis Tennessee...or a Prince from another Planet 💞💞
He was born in Tupelo Mississippi and was dirt poor. He built Graceland, his eventual home, in Memphis,Tennessee. He was known for his generosity to friends and strangers alike. Every year in Memphis there is a week long event around the day he died where thousands of people from all around the world still come to visit. He was one of a kind.
Have you been to Elvis week? It’s on my bucket list for sure. I once lived in Northern Kentucky and once drove down for a Memphis trip. By the time we got there, Graceland was class but I did gawk outside the gates. Twenty years ago.
I lived in Memphis but never made it to Graceland. It is in an area called Whitehaven, close to the airport. I worked for the City of Memphis. Every year we would get an official memo instructing city employees to NOT be overheard referring to this time as "Dead Elvis Week"... yes, this was the locals phrase used and I am not joking. Traffic was always wild, and apparently this term was in use long before I was employed by the city. I worked for the parks commission and visitors were naturally visiting all the local attractions. I dont recall anyone that I knew who was ever reprimanded for this, but it must have happened somewhere for this yearly memo to be official. I did hear the term a lot from some employees, though!
@@jonathanaldecoa1099 the gates were as far as I ever got. I loved the graffiti and took pictures of the outside area.
I also stood outside of Sun Records, the original location on Union. Then of course waking down Beale street was pretty awesome
Oh cool this will be fun to see your reaction to this classic.
Sweetie, ppl used to dress up for a big night out, ESPECIALLY to see the King! This is one of my faves~
Elvis is the GOAT!!
That was indeed his hair. But he dyed his hair black. It was originally blond/light brown. Probably by 1970 or so it was naturally grey to white like his dad's hair. Vernon's hair started to turn white by his late 30s or so. Elvis dyed his hair so much it almost looked blue. The dye affected his eyes, it would drip down into them when he was sweating.
Glad to see young Brothers listen some good music
OMG... My favorite Elvis song! Please listen to Promise Land by Elvis.
He was amazing
Elvis was born in Tupelo Mississippi, but soon moved to Memphis, Tennessee. His adult house, Graceland, is a tourist attraction. DEFINITELY worth going to. He spent a lot of time in Vegas so that’s why you’ve heard of him. He was not “one the best”. He was, is and will always be THE best❤️
Great review, as usual❗️
Elvis is from Tupelo, Mississippi.
He was so gorgeous!
Elvis was and will always be an iconic legend and that IS HIS real hair he was originally a blonde so he dyed his hair black!!!! No wig!!!!! He couldn’t shake like that and sweat like that with a wig!!! Lol!!!!
Please could I suggest elvis doing houndddog in the live clip from 56 , his raw talent and charisma will blow you away
Elvis was born in Tupelo Mississippi and moved to Memphis Tennessee as a child and grew up in public housing. His family was very poor and he never forgot his past when he became the biggest rock ‘n’ roll star in the world in the 1950s. He moved his parents into their own home and eventually bought the mansion known as “Graceland” and stayed in Memphis his whole life. Elvis employed much of his family and many of his childhood friends. They were called the “Memphis Mafia.” He was known as a soft touch and often bought people cars as gifts and took care of their needs when it came to his attention. He bought his cook a house and many vehicles over the years and she even stayed on and worked for his family long after he died. Elvis was a very generous person in the ways that someone who grew up in poverty can only be and understand.
real everything
The King! He was actually banned from dancing like that on TV and on the Ed Sullivan Show he was only shown from the chest up, lol. Great singer!!
Your reaction is entertaining. You are really grooving to the song. You appear to be astonished by Elvis' great talent. That was an awesome performance. You should do a video on Elvis singing Patch It Up. I think you'll like that one.
I love watching your reaction to Elvis! He was a twin, also, but his twin brother Jesse died at birth! Love to watch you, I ain't gonna lie to you, you always make me smile!
That’s his hair. Elvis has Cherokee Indian in him thus his beautiful features and hair. Was was THE BEST Entertainer, Humanitarian, Civil Rights Activist and Patriot.
@brother ecstasy yeah he did.
@brother ecstasy Yes I know I've seen the photos. Elvis was also a twin but his Twin Bro died. They were Elivs Aaron & Jesse Garon
Elvis did wear a wig and his sideburns wasn't real either his daughter Lisa Marie Presley let the secret out
@@tammy7502 Ha! Like fuck she did!
@@tammy7502 nice try little bug. That's real blonde hair dyed jet black. He was inspired by early 1900's film star Rudolph Valentino.
The KING
It was often said by people that elvis was one of those very rare people who didn’t see skin colour. That came from his very humble beginnings and he never ever forgot where he came from . Elvis is the king
Here he is singing about salad, and it's super incredible
the king
Guy was electric. Just like Michael Jackson.
And little Micheal Jackson married Lisa Marie Presley.
Elvis was the whole package. Sad to watch his decline. His last concert was heart breaking
Elvis was born into poverty during the Great Depression in Tupelo, Mississippi; he and his family moved to Memphis, Tennessee when Elvis was a teenager.
Yes it's his real hair, dyed black originally dark brown.
Cherokee Indian blood.
The man had it all and then some.
It wasn't dark brown it was quite fair. He dyed it black supposedly in imitation of Tony Curtis.
@@ria1636 From all the pictures I've seen it was blonde as a little boy
and darkened to brown as he got older.
Not unusual, my own mother had platinum blonde as a little girl
and it changed to brunette.
Mabe his wasn't dark brown but I don't think it stayed blonde either
before the dye.
Yes, it's his real hair! Watch the concert "Aloha from Hawaii"
Real entertainer there !
