What a lot of people don’t appreciate is how Elvis was in complete control of his band. It wasn’t just the audience that he held in the palm of his hand. His band reacted to his every hand movement which shows how accomplished of musicians they were and how everybody was so in tune with Elvis and each other! He was like a constructor of the orchestra!
I didn’t pay much attention to his music, except for couple of his songs, until he died. I turned 16 that summer, and his music was on the radio constantly. Got to liking his stuff then.
When Elvis first came out they would only show him from the waist up! He swiveled his hips to much! lol True story, btw it's fun watching you react to videos. Keep up the good work.
Yes very true story!!! I remember it. I remember the day he died and his funeral. It was like the world stopped. Only thing on the 3 news channels back then.
Yes, after he met Johnny Cash he was yet another that took speed. But before he was addicted, when he was still driving that truck . Doing the Louisiana Hayride he couldn’t control how his body. Boy was just expressing how music moved him.
Elvis had the best of everything, including the best LIVE BAND of the era! After the '68 SPECIAL, after those years spent making movies, Elvis got the STAGE BUG once again, and with the confidence that he garnered from that special, he hit Vegas like a tornado &he never looked back! He owned that town for a number of years and this is the type of show he gave twice a night when he sold out every show over a span of 7 years, over 800 shows in that town! All kinds of celebrities would attend his shows...he shows just became legendary! I've bought every movie DVD, every concert DVD, every DVD of his, after I learned so much of him in his ELVIS CHANNEL on SIRIUS radio. It took me a few years but I've got them, and don't let anyone tell you his movies are trash! They grow on you and then, you appreciate them for what they were, ENTERTAINMENT, from the greatest entertainer the world has ever known! He was b4 my time but his likes will never come again, especially when it comes to him and his band! Just beautiful entertainment and he always gave his all, even when he messed around a bit, to take the edge off those backing him. Loved his audience and loved making them laugh, also. That's all around talent!
Elvis Presley may have joked around on stage and in the studio but he was serious about his music. In fact, Elvis Presley would stop his snow to correct any mistakes made by his band on stage or in studio. In sum, Elvis Presley was a perfectionist.

What’s more amazing is that when Elvis played Vegas, he did 30 days straight 2 shows a nite and sometimes a 3rd at 3 am. Over 60 shows in a month! No entertainer does that nowadays. It’s brutal but he did it! The International seated 2000 seats by 1971 it became the Hilton and seated 2200. He sold out every show he ever did there, still to this day is the record. He was nominated as One of the Top 10 Young Men in America by the American Jaycees on January 16, 1971, not for his work as a Entertainer, but for his dedication and work in Law Enforcement !! A Fulton County Deputy Sheriff , GA , was on location at a very well known Underground Wax Museum in Atlanta, Georgia on the week they were closing. Vernon Presley and a couple of the guys that work for Elvis came in and bought a lifelike life sized wax figure of Elvis, because it was all being auctioned off. They made the purchase and on the way out the door, Vernon Presley turned to the guy at the museum counter and said, " Just Wait 'til you guys see what we're going to do with this " ! AND this Is the TRUTH as told by Elvis himself !!! Elvis Presley Is Alive !!!
I am 51 and been a huge Elvis fan my whole life. It is so good to see a whole new generation being exposed to him and especially people of different races appreciating him and realizing just how great this man was and why he's called The King. Keep those Elvis videos coming, there are enough great performances from him to keep you entertained for years!
OMG thank you so much for showing Elvis :) I have been a fan since my teen, he had all look charisma incredible talent and yes this is how he behaved while performing, they say the band never knew what to expect from Elvis, he often joked, did pranks, he could throw water on them, all kind of things :) He kissed women in the audience :) He wore expensive rings and throw them in the audience too without looking back :) He was and always will be a legend :) It is really funny to watch your amazement, I know these performances by heart now :) Warm greetings from Poland - Karolina
Soul / Blues Legend Bobby Rush said in interviews very similar to what you said about Elvis as an Entertainer. "A lot of people have talent, but what Elvis had, that was rare, a gift. What Elvis do, you can't teach that! He was my buddy and I miss him. He was extra special". That statement coming from a man that knows something about Talent himself. Bobby's in his 80's and he still out there touring America, and sometimes overseas, playing to crowds that fill stadiums. I know you're busy doing a lot of different reactions, but maybe if you ever have time between all the other ones you're doing, try look up some Bobby Rush. You may dig the dude. I know I have for years. Love your stuff. Please keep it up.
Thank you a million times for the time and respect you give to Elvis. I fell in love with him when I was 10 years old. I’m now 74 and still in love. And I love you too. God bless you.
The King, just The King! Nothing more to say about that. Great channel, a new way to listening to music and discover new things in this art! Thank you Jamel!
I’ve been an Elvis since a little girl. And I saw him in person. He gave his all and never lip-synced!! He had a great sense of humor also. He could sing anything and make it his own!! Pilamaya ( Thank You) for your kind words. Elvis fan forever!!
My sister and I were young (I was 7 and she was 5) during his Hawaii concert, which was broadcast on TV, back when we had 3 channels. We loved him (and Don Ho). When he died shortly thereafter, we found out about it on the evening news. My 5-year-old sister stood there in front of the TV and bawled her eyes out. The rest of the family were stunned by her reaction. I guess she loved him THAT much.
What a superb showman and performer. There are not many people if any that could put on a show like that, he just oozes talent and charisma, truly amazing.
Really Love these reaction videos! it is so good to see someone react to the greatest singer/entertainer that ever was and will be! Elvis had it all! and if you can't feel something emotionally when you hear him sing, than there is something wrong! There will never be another like him! There is a couple songs and performances that I really think you would enjoy that embodied that emotion and passion from Elvis. 1, Trying to get to you from the comeback special. 2, Burning Love from the aloha performance. Keep up the great work brother! and keep on bringing us the King!
Absolutely love this song and video. The video shows all of Elvis, including his wonderful sense of humour. He was and will always be The King - changed music forever. RIP
I love your reactions to Elvis. Growing up with his music and watching him on the Ed Sullivan Show, his 68 Comeback special, his Hawaiian concert etc., I appreciate when you youngsters ;-) come to know who and what Elvis was. Pure magic!

2012. Elvis, aka Jon Burrows, also recorded and released a brand new CD
of 15 songs in January of 2012. Both have been voice printed and authenticated
100 % as the voice of Elvis Aron Presley by Computer Voice Analysts Technicians.

A Fulton County Deputy Sheriff , GA , was on location at a very well known
Underground Wax Museum in Atlanta, Georgia on the week they were closing.
Vernon Presley and a couple of the guys that work for Elvis came in and
bought a lifelike life sized wax figure of Elvis, because it was all being
auctioned off. They made the purchase and on the way out the door,
Vernon Presley turned to the guy at the museum counter and said,
" Just Wait 'til you guys see what we're going to do with this " !
AND this Is the TRUTH as told by Elvis himself !!! Elvis Presley Is Alive !!!
Elvis truly earned his title as "The King"... RIP Brother

This was by far your best reaction ever!

Elvis was Electrifying!
Yes!🕺🏻
I am 51 and been a huge Elvis fan my whole life. It is so good to see a whole new generation being exposed to him and especially people of different races appreciating him and realizing just how great this man was and why he's called The King. Keep those Elvis videos coming, there are enough great performances from him to keep you entertained for years!
Ladies and gentlemen
Elvis Presley
Love your reaction to this. Elvis was at his best. R.I.P
Thank You🙏🏾
@@jamelakajamal you are very welcome
OMG thank you so much for showing Elvis :) I have been a fan since my teen, he had all look charisma incredible talent and yes this is how he behaved while performing, they say the band never knew what to expect from Elvis, he often joked, did pranks, he could throw water on them, all kind of things :) He kissed women in the audience :) He wore expensive rings and throw them in the audience too without looking back :) He was and always will be a legend :) It is really funny to watch your amazement, I know these performances by heart now :) Warm greetings from Poland - Karolina
Great reaction, he is the coolest cat ever!
Like u said that's entertainment
Thanks👍🏾
He will never be forgotten he is amazing
That was a great reaction, you could show how great thou art from 77. Or Bridge over troubled water from 70
Elvis studied Martial Arts which he included into a lot of his moves
👍🏾
Nice seeing Elvis do this song. What a great performer, The King
I remember watching him on TV years ago as a child. He was the greatest showman ever! They say Elvis is still alive.
"I learned that in the army..."
How many artists would, at the top of their career, get drafted into the army and then serve? Hint; very few.
What a showstopper the best ever ! Polk Salad Shows off his stuff...Elvis the Pelvis forever.
The King, just The King! Nothing more to say about that. Great channel, a new way to listening to music and discover new things in this art! Thank you Jamel!
Now you see why they say he was the King of Rock and Roll
Let's correct that (HE IS THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL)
Thanks again for another great reaction video!! Thank you as well for keeping Elvis music alive!!
👍🏾
I was six and told my Granny she was lying when she told me that he died!
Lisa Campbell It was almost like the earth stood still.
What a superb showman and performer. There are not many people if any that could put on a show like that, he just oozes talent and charisma, truly amazing.
He could put on a great show that you rember a feel. That's why he was. The king of music.
I was fortunate enough to see Elvis and 75 and 77 you talk about awesome it was awesome
He reminds of James Brown, you cant sit still. He and James were very good friend. Check out James comments on Elvis on youtube.
There is so much funk in this song and I’m here for it!!!!!🤴
This is when Elvis felt good and enjoyed preforming! What a beautiful man, beautiful heart! He was a tribute to what's good from the South!
This is from my favorite Elvis concert: That's the Way it Is.
Lol i love your reaction to this song i had the same reaction . Elvis sings it so good i love the words to it!
Elvis on the right side of the groove. He moved everybody.
Cool video reaction Jamel
Elvis was an amazing talent.
Thanks🙏🏾
Jamel.....I am so glad you are getting Elvis. He was so, so wonderful in so many ways!
Pure magic!
Elvis Presley / Hound dog HD / great performance from a young elvis 🙏🙏🙏
