    Elvis Presley is the best he is all natural. The world has loved elvis for ever. Ain't nobody ever done what he did. God blessed him. He really had his heart for God and his gospels were phenomenal. Bring tears to your eyes. And chills. His mama taught him never forget how you were raised and where you came from. He never did. He gave. Gifts and donations. Away. Drom day one such a good hearted person. The image is one thing and the man he was is love love love he cared so much for people. He never let fame and money go to his head. He shared what he had. He was a sinoke man. He owned the stage when he stepped on it. And owned the songs he sang cuz he did them the best. He interacted with the band and his audiences. He didn't have a clue why he was so so so great. He even said. I don't know what I do to make them scream over me. Ok. Keep on listening cuz he is an addiction. TCB

    Elvis was dedicated to giving the audience the best show possible ‘cause they were paying to see a show and many had travelled far.
    Every single day, he strengthened and protected his vocal chords by shutting himself in a steamy bathroom,gargling and doing scales. Elvis died August 16, 1977!…but he lives in our hearts forever!

    • @dabdella1460

      If they are afraid it is because they don't possess the talent to pull it off

    • @Aquarius69
      @Aquarius69 4 года назад +3

      Raymond Turner Right, Elvis was naturally born supertalented. He didn't get a music lesson, can't read a note. He didn't need autotune or playback, didn't need firework, half nacked dancers besides him to lift up the show like today so called stars. Back in that time they all were more naturally. Today it's to calculated, synchronus, electronically. MJ is one of those type of. Sorry, for all MJ out there! But he is the prototype of modern way to present music. Lipsinc, not singing real. Too much dancing to distract from a thin voice etc. But that's how it is. It's a pitty. But how anazing and refreshing it is to see and hear such an original performer like ElV1S! AND THERE ARE SOME OTHER VERY NATURAL TALENTED FROM THAT TIME!

    • @Aquarius69
      @Aquarius69 4 года назад +2

      Like you guys said it: Todays singers are brought into line. They all sound equal. There is no recognition. But when you hear Elvis than...similar or same for other great musicians of that time back than like Tom Jones, Aretha Franklin, Neil Diamond, Frank Sinatra and others. They also have great personalities, charisma etc. But todays so called stars...What happened? Do they have really no talent or is it the todays music industry with all that electronically that want to brought them all into line? And the musicians let put it up with that? Or don't they realize that and think they were really great!

    Like I have said to others before, be careful don't start watching too much Elvis, because he could be an addiction that you will find hard to quit. But a great one. The most versatile and talented entertainer ever to walk the earth. I don't care if you're talking about the early fifties with videos like Jailhouse Rock and clips from his movie songs you will not be disappointed. Oh by the way, he is the only singer to be in all four hall of fame's, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, The Gospel Hall of Fame, the R&B Hall of Fame and to country and western Hall of Fame. Sold over one and a half billion records in the world, no one has come close, not Michael Jackson, not the Beatles, not Frank Sinatra not anyone. Not bad for a extremely poor poor boy from Tupelo. God bless you guys. Loved it.

He was a total goofball and a comedian basically but it just turns out that even with no vocal training he was fin-tastic and of course he was an athlete and did a lot of dance moves that people did not approve of back at that time. But he was always his own person.

    Another great one is Walk a Mile in My Shoes (from Vegas 1970). Also his iconic performance of Don't Be Cruel from the Ed Sullivan show. They would only film him above the waist because of the controversy surrounding his performances on the Dorsey Brothers & Milton Berle shows. He also performed the gospel song, Peace in the Valley on the Sullivan show.

    Jane H …Just subbed for you Elvis Reactions. If you go back to beginning years of Elvis’ career, & watch his open-air concert when he returned to his hometown of Tupelo, Mississippi, in 1955/56, when he was 20/21 years old & already a global superstar, you will see thousands of young people standing up. These 1970s Las Vegas concerts were held in the Showroom of the International Hilton Hotel & they were sit-down dinner shows (around tables). In 1970, when this concert took place, Elvis was already 35 years old, so no youngster anymore, but he had been doing Karate training for around a decade & had a Black Belt to 8th degree, so he was very flexible & supple. From around 1973, he was suffering from painful osteoarthritis, & no longer able to be this energetic, & of course he was 38 years old by then, & no longer as flexible. Enjoying your Reactions to Elvis.

    People. I was at the 1973 concert 3rd row center. I was 21 n went crazy. In the 50s he did R n R like Jailhouse Rock, Don't Be Cruel, Stuck on You, 60s on to 1977 when he died he did Alot of ballads n Gospel. He got 3 Emmys for his Gospel music. He also got The Metal Of Freedom from the President( highest honor for a civilian) Many entertainers such as Sammy Davis, Tom Jones, Mic Jager, BB King, Beatles, Barbara Streisand, Simon n Garfunkel all said if there was not Elvis they would never succeeded in music. By the way MJ got most of his moves from Elvis gyrating n Elvis moves just look at his songs in the 50s

    The crowd was much different to his normal concerts coz its Las Vegas, so theres a mix in there of celebrities, the rich who payed $1,250 for front row views and your Elvis fans. Las Vegas is where many entertainers bombed but Elvis blew away all attendance records

    Elvis in the 70s sold out the Astrodome in Houston and we were standing on our feet, waving our arms. When Elvis started out, the fans often stormed the stage and ripped his clothes off. The video you showed was just a classier venue in Las Vegas.

    You've Lost That Loving Feeling from 70 live Vegas. Everything in that show is off the scale, Elvis at his very best looks, charisma, talent and voice.
    I guarantee you'll love it.....

    Elvis did sell out football stadiums - The Cotton Bowl, The Astrodome and the Silverdome with as many as 80,000 people. He was popular enough that he would stay in town for 2-4 performances before he would hit the next city.

    I’m 68 years old I’ve seen 29 Elvis performances and Muhammad Ali and Elvis we’re good friends and Ali said they will be listening to Elvis for 100 years don’t forget to watch “ American trilogy “called by rapper Kanye West the greatest 6 minutes in history!
    God bless you kids you’re my new hero’s!
    I paid $6.75 for my first Elvis concert and I’d pay $10,000 today!

    Everyone is dressed up because its Vegas, Elvis would do two shows a night, a dinner show and a midnight show. But he also did regular tours, he really was one of the hardest working performers. Anyway to see a actual concert performance try “See See Rider” or “Polk Salad Annie” from “Elvis On Tour” filmed in 1972.
