I wasn’t saying he was lip syncing, what I meant to say was his singing voice sounds exactly like the original song, which is amazing. A lot of entertainers nowadays can not even come close to singing to how the original song sounds like, that’s what I meant.
Of course he had lip-synced. He did it all the time in his movies and a bit in the 1968 Comeback Special when he was in his leather outfit doing "If I Can Dream." In the white suit he was doing it live.
Elvis had the best backup, orchestra & certainly, the best live stage band ever assembled. He hand-picked every element of his stage ensemble! No stage performances can ever duplicate ehat he brought to the stage. His charisma, enthusiasm and love of his audience was there for everyone to witness! Every live performance became legendary, especially those in Las Vegas! He rekindled Las Vegas to where acts wanted to go there too.
ONE of his best performance, more then 50 years ago! Thank you for sharing! Love it! He always had black singers, Whitney Houstan's mother Sissy was one of them! (the one he shocked) 👏👏 🇳🇱
The man was 35 years old here. He had no lip sync so he was singing, dancing and doing karate stretches on a hot stage. People now do a lot of dancing but aren't singing along with it.

Elvis is the greatest entertainer of all time, THE KING was a baddass, especially when he first hit the music landscape, he set the music world on fire, and it never looked the same again
That man was perfection. He could have walked on stage and just smiled and would have been good. He had a voice and looks that no one will ever match. Never lip synced ever 🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️
It's awesome of course it's Elvis the best performer ever he had it all looks charisme so much talent like you said he sounded just as good live thank you stay safe 😷✌
To the guy in the back, don't ever judge Elvis's concerts/performances after 10 seconds. Elvis was and probably still is the best singer ever! He could sing not only Rock n roll, but Soul, Gospel, Country, R&B and even started Rap! Elvis made the music we have today, he was inspired by lots of artists but he put his own style into songs and began the evolution of music.
Elvis is something that you will never comprehend, little dudes.Too big for you, too big for many. But it's a good thing you know it's there, at least.

Elvis by far is the greatest performer (best voice) ever; he could hit the high notes, he could hit the low notes and he could shake that VOICE like no one else ever could, and all that without screaming...The range is just amazing; he sings Rock, Rhythm and Blues, Country and Gospel (which other performer could match that). Elvis voice is not squeaky like you know who; he doesn't spend 5 to 6 hours daily working on choreographed moves, once he's on stage he just randomly move to the music and nobody could movethewayhedoes...Today most performers have several dancers in their band and they're all doing the same choreographed moves; if everyone could do it then it's not difficult, all the dancers in Michael Jackson's Thriller are doing EXACTLY the same moves and the voice is the same in every song (squeaky, no range and some screaming). With Elvis there's no such thing as top 3 or top 5...Elvis is simply the BEST there ever was and ever will be; can you imagine songs that Elvis sang 50 to 60 years ago sounds like it could have been done yesterday; who can you say that about 🤔...Only ELVIS 👍

@@mcwhorter141mcwhorter8 I'm a huge Elvis fan. Listen to him basically every day and have for 44 years. I own about 80 CD's and albums. I only say that to preface my statement. As a song in terms of music and vocal performance, I like In the Ghetto. I think it's a really good song. It's probably somewhere in the lower half of his Top 100 IMO. As a message, it's extremely meaningful, impactful and poignant. Maybe the most important song with If I Can Dream in his career from the standpoint of society and the human race. Thanks for asking.
Elvis presley was a black belt in karate, pertaining to daily stretches comment. Elvis presley loved building up a song to crescendos that's why the slow start back offs and back up again The drummer knows what Elvis wants by watching hand arm leg gestures and movements The band is being conducted by him he is keeping the rhythm and even his head movements are a signal Elvis did hundreds of concerts and liked to change up the standard play list with different versions slower faster mess with the words etc. If you listen close you will hear his voice put melody on the words. Love your comment. When they released the Original Suspicious Minds in 69, the end of the song kept fading in and out for effect. Even DJs we’re fooled at first. You don’t hear it much today on re releases. When he started to perform it live they would do the slow down and back up for effect and dramatics. It was very effective as you could see. @@jcjreacts7630 actually he was an 8th degree black belt and aside from being in all 4 major hall of fames he is in a few karate hall of fame as well. He was raw talent
Elvis knew exactly what he was doing. The first part of the performance, he is establishing the story...any over the top showmanship would've taken away from it. It's as he is building the drama that he brings the "energy". A perfect mix of light and shade. BTW Michael demonstrated subtlety in his deeper songs as well.

Wake up fast young ones, Elvis NEVER lip synched, the more performances you watch youll quickly realize he didnt need to - he had an amazing voice and something sadly lacking these days called - RAW TALENT. The only ones that need to lip sync are the ones with no talent. Do you really think Elvis performed in front of hundreds of thousands of people over the decades, hundreds and hundreds of shows, platinum and gold records, plus all the reactions on YT, TV shows, movies, gospel records, rock, soul, etc. and YOU GUYS are the ONLY ones that would have noticed it-??!! Come on, before you decide to judge the legends you better realize 40 years ago noone lip synced, you either had talent or you didnt and if you didnt you didnt cut it on stage. Elvis performed up close and personal many many times and even in his very last performance when his health was very bad and he could barely hold his breath his voice still didnt fail him and he belted out a better performance than many healthy people could have. I expect youll get a whole lot of flack over your comments, noone becomes a legend by lip syncing. How many of todays so called "artists" are in all four music hall of fames-?!!
This was at a time that DID not use recorded back ground music, Autotune and all instruments were actually played live!! Elvis also did not use stage monitor until a few years after this performance.. When he first heard them himself on stage he couldn't believe he never had them until then
Great reaction to a great performance but you missed the end! That's crazy. After all that he goes into that incredible deep lunge with the lights out and then they're only out for just a Split Second and then they come back up as the Band hits this huge Crescendo and by the time the lights turn back on he's gone from this deep low lunge position into a power stance with one arm over his head and it's just an all-out Blitz of sound for a minute before it stops. It's spectacular and you guys missed it, cry.
Hey guys, Elvis wasn't just stretching, he was a multiple black belt karate. Hence his energy on stage. Furthermore there's no lip sync with Elvis; his looks, his voice, his moves, the whole package all pure and powerful. Do some research then you will know what you're talking about.
Believe it or not you guys just proved why Elvis was the greatest no lip singing he didn't have anyone telling him where to dance at he didn't have guitarist jump it out in the center of the stage he was the conductor and he orchestrated the whole show you are welcome to his living room not a concert his voice actually got better as he got older and he started the sound much better enjoy your trip of getting to know who Elvis is you will see this is why Michael Jackson try to break his records because even Michael Jackson could not do what Elvis did thank you
When Elvis and Muhammed Ali met it was mutual admiration for each other. (Ali was known to constantly complement himself as pretty, so telling Elvis he's pretty is a complement). Elvis confessed to Ali that he too would like to try boxing. By now Elvis was already a black belt in karate, but Ali pooh-poohed the idea, telling Elvis he was ‘too pretty’ to be a boxer. At which point Elvis, who was 6 ft tall, leapt to his feet and struck a karate stance. Ali, who was two inches taller than Elvis, leapt to his feet and struck a boxing pose. For a few seconds the pair eyeballed one another, then with one swift move Elvis kicked Ali’s legs from under him, and the world boxing champ hit the deck! While Elvis and Ali’s bodyguard’s froze, the two superstars suddenly burst out laughing. It was the beginning of a firm friendship
I was raised on Elvis's music and he never lip synced in his career. He was the real thing. He opened up alot of doors for other entertainers who do lip sync in their performances. Your friend in the backseat doesn't know what he's talking 🤐 about, so he needs to stay in the background.
Wow I just watched this again ,eights and nines guys . There are three of you. Start the rehearsals for this dance now and get back to us for the big reveal. . Really.
This was a live concert. He was called Elvis the pelvis. TV shows would not film him below the waist because he gyrated. So from the time he lived he did some fantastic songs enjoy. Check out Angelina‘s Jordan tribute to Elvis Presley same song she starts with the bridge the slow part and she slows it down the whole way and it sounds really great! I also liked the song in the ghetto.🤟💕
You need to listen to "In The Ghetto by Elvis, 1969" Be sure and remember the year when the song came out. He never ever used auto anything even when his health started failing him he would stop in the middle of a song because he could not remember the words. Also, keep in mind of the time era, either you could sing or you couldn't. Kept it 100 back then,. FACTS!!
Elvis played drums also, what you are seeing he is keeping pace with the drummer, how many could do that. Keep in mind he had already done several songs before this one in that show.
Actually, the drummer was keeping up with him. He directed the band with his moves. And yes, the energy his performances must have taken!!! In Vegas he did 2 shows a day!
Laura Bonell Elvis is THE KING, not only of rock'n roll! He is the hole package. He changed the face of pop music completly like no on did before or after! And Elvis changed many aspects of pop culture worldwide! Biggest influence and impact!
Yes Elvis is the King of rock and roll because when he started in the late 60s and 70s parents demonized him because of his moves, his outfits and the gold he wore around his neck and on his fingers and back then they were busting his records in churches because they said he sung for the devil and he also broke down so many barriers for rock and roll and for black people to go mainstream.

There Also A Live Version Elvis On Stage. Singing in The Ghetto. The Studio Recording is The Best. VERY POWERFUL SONG. Thanks. More Elvis. God Bless.
I know this video is old, but I hope you see this comment. Before Elvis, performers didn't move around on stage. They just stood there and sang their songs. When Elvis started out, he just couldn't be still because the music moved him so. He was swiveling his hips and moving his legs so much that adults of the day said he was "obscene" and "vulgar". Elvis paved the way for other performers to be able to move on stage. Check out his earlier stuff like "Hound Dog" and "Jailhouse Rock". Another good one from the 70s is "Polk Salad Annie".
That was in 1970 , if you find somebody that sings that song better than Elvis , show us . You will NEVER find somebody else , entertainment included .
Why has no one commented about Elvis adding "shove it up your nose" as those words are not in the song anywhere. He was the greatest entertainer of his time. You're also watching a song near the end of the concert. His costumes weighted between 45 and 70 pounds and he expended a lot of energy.
He enjoyed teasing his audiences. There is an audio of him changing the words in "Are You Lonesome Tonight" from, "do you gaze at your doorstep and wish I was there", to "do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair". A man in the front row took his toupee off and waived it around. Elvis saw it and cracked up!!! Then, he couldn't stop laughing. It's priceless!!!

How many of todays so called "artists" are in all four music hall of fames-?!!
the king 👑
thanks for watching loraine 🙏🏾
This was at a time that DID not use recorded back ground music, Autotune and all instruments were actually played live!! Elvis also did not use stage monitor until a few years after this performance.. When he first heard them himself on stage he couldn't believe he never had them until then
He was the real deal ❤️😍😘🥰
No no no no no Elvis was the best ever🧐🧐🧐❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Great reaction to a great performance but you missed the end! That's crazy. After all that he goes into that incredible deep lunge with the lights out and then they're only out for just a Split Second and then they come back up as the Band hits this huge Crescendo and by the time the lights turn back on he's gone from this deep low lunge position into a power stance with one arm over his head and it's just an all-out Blitz of sound for a minute before it stops. It's spectacular and you guys missed it, cry.
Elvis is the The King of Rock and Roll.
You kids are great. Love your reaction
Hey guys, Elvis wasn't just stretching, he was a multiple black belt karate. Hence his energy on stage. Furthermore there's no lip sync with Elvis; his looks, his voice, his moves, the whole package all pure and powerful. Do some research then you will know what you're talking about.
You guys need to drop the dead weight in the back seat. Bro, is clueless.
🤣👍
😂😂 he came around though
Clark Bucher The 3. Stooges
Clark Bucher Got to agree with you.
He was kinda gross~ Remember, LADIES may be watching~ Its not a sausage-fest here on RUclips~It's called manners backseat bro~
Believe it or not you guys just proved why Elvis was the greatest no lip singing he didn't have anyone telling him where to dance at he didn't have guitarist jump it out in the center of the stage he was the conductor and he orchestrated the whole show you are welcome to his living room not a concert his voice actually got better as he got older and he started the sound much better enjoy your trip of getting to know who Elvis is you will see this is why Michael Jackson try to break his records because even Michael Jackson could not do what Elvis did thank you
Good job guys
E best ever. No auto tune no nothing back then. Pure Elvis.
He is the King!! No one better!!
Just the King and No one Will ever come clouse
Your friend needs to listen to IF I CAN DREAM...he needs MORE ELVIS. ELVIS is THE GOAT!

Watching g all your elvis vids 💙
Elvis is the best singer he can sing anything
Yes, he's "The King".
any and all elvis is gooood.
Start the rehearsals for this dance now and get back to us for the big reveal. . Really.
Enjoyed the review of “The King”!!!
Thank you for watching 🙏🏽
You need to react to Elvis Presley trying to get to you (68 comeback special)
This was a live concert. He was called Elvis the pelvis. TV shows would not film him below the waist because he gyrated. So from the time he lived he did some fantastic songs enjoy. Check out Angelina‘s Jordan tribute to Elvis Presley same song she starts with the bridge the slow part and she slows it down the whole way and it sounds really great! I also liked the song in the ghetto.🤟💕
Dudes you got to hear him singing “if I could dream”, the soundtrack from “jail house rocK”. Elvis started it all.
The King !
I was gassed watching this reaction😂 watch him do Polk salad Annie
Elvis never lip sync'd. Never. And he never used auto tune. There was auto tune then. He was pure talent.
Unchained Melody cbs special 1977
You need to listen to "In The Ghetto by Elvis, 1969" Be sure and remember the year when the song came out. He never ever used auto anything even when his health started failing him he would stop in the middle of a song because he could not remember the words. Also, keep in mind of the time era, either you could sing or you couldn't. Kept it 100 back then,. FACTS!!
No lip sync only in the movie songs. His voice was incredible.
He's the king
That why called king of rock and roll
Laura Bonell Elvis is THE KING, not only of rock'n roll! He is the hole package. He changed the face of pop music completly like no on did before or after! And Elvis changed many aspects of pop culture worldwide! Biggest influence and impact!
Yes Elvis is the King of rock and roll because when he started in the late 60s and 70s parents demonized him because of his moves, his outfits and the gold he wore around his neck and on his fingers and back then they were busting his records in churches because they said he sung for the devil and he also broke down so many barriers for rock and roll and for black people to go mainstream.
Now you know why he’s called The King.. if you want to see some moves, do “Jailhouse Rock”
Yes, from the movie!

There would be no Mj with out Elvis
Dude in the back. Glad you gave him a chance
You know everyone who came after Elvis. They all copied him .Elvis is never second. Number one
Hhahahahahahaha
He did over 1000 concerts in Las Vegas and he got black belt in karate.
ELVIS ALWAYS SANG. THERE WAS NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER LIP SYNCING. NOBODY EVER CAME CLOSE OR WILL GET CLOSE TO HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is an audio of him changing the words in "Are You Lonesome Tonight" from, "do you gaze at your doorstep and wish I was
there", to "do you gaze at your bald head and wish you had hair". A man in the front row took his toupee off and waived it around. Elvis saw it and cracked up!!! Then, he couldn't stop laughing. It's priceless!!!
