Taking delivery on a wilderness in Sept. Didn't get the upgraded sound because I didn't want a sunroof. Hopefully, the base speakers are decent.

@@db1566 cool, good to hear. I'm wavering on whether or not I should add the HK audio package since it requires a moonroof (which I don't need and probably wouldn't utilize much). As long as the stock sound system is bearable, I'll put up with it until I can have an aftermarket sound system installed. I've been hearing that the stock system makes music practically unlistenable, but I'm fine with "not bad" in the interim. I definitely don't want to have a shitty sound system on long road trips.

I'm planning on getting a Crosstrek Limited next month, but I'm torn on whether to do the Harman Kardon sound system upgrade (which I hear isn't anything special) and which requires me to add a moonroof which I don't need (and which adds significantly to the package price), or to just deal with the stock sound system and do an aftermarket upgrade on my own down the road... Apparently the stock sound system is absolute trash though, according to some. I'm a musician, and therefore an audiophile of sorts, so that's probably gonna be a huge problem. Would be nice if you could add the HK sound system without the moonroof... It would also be nice if stock sound systems in cars weren't practically intentionally designed to be terrible. I mainly listen to music in my car, since I live in an apartment with strict noise-level rules.
