I've been driving a 2021 Subaru Forester with Bridgestone Blizzak tires. It does amazingly well Yesterday I was driving for miles on a frozen lake covered in about 6-8 inches of hard snow. I'll mention I'm an outdoor adventure guy living in South Dakota. I've been stuck in the Forester only once (2-foot deep drift 30 feet long). I've driven a Crosstrek around in some seriously rocky mountain dirt roads and treacherous conditions, and the AWD system always gives confidence. If you can do all of that snow driving in a Crosstrek...imagine what the Outback XT or Wilderness could do.
This is why I own a 2013 Subaru Outback , and the only reason I want to trade it in is to get the latest technology, it still runs pretty much like the day I bought it new. ( Thanks for posting, and I believe what you have shown us, because my Subaru has done it ) 😀

I can't even imagine what winter tires would do.
