April 1st comes. I go to the grocery store and by a can of deluxe white albums. I pop one onto the turntables back at home to give it a spin. A familiar drum fill rings out and I suddenly hear Rick Astley's Never Gonna Give You Up. Sweating profusely, I frantically try all the other albums from the can. I love the use of the "Only In Dreams" Bassline in the bridge. Great little throw back. I was listening to this track after listening to Pinkerton and If the track was produced the same way as Pinkerton it would have fit in nicely. This is a great Weezer track

Hurley was actually a good album, despite only having 2 singles. it being done in less than a year, and having 1 guitar solo that's the worst song in the album. (I agree with Rock Critic)
EWBAIE was the best comeback, but couldn't beat Pinkerton & Blue
Actually Raditude was a great record if you look at it songwriting wise. Maybe not have had a whole lot of bangers or really big hits, but from a songwriting perspective it was great, unfortunately not commercially

I honestly love this bands entire output, they've yet to put out an album I've been disappointed with and without a doubt I know that this album is gonna be fantastic, every single so far is such a joy to listen to. Plus, another self titled album, along with EWBAITE makes it seem like they might go another very meta direction, which I'm 100% okay with!

This and do you wanna get high are giving me such a great feeling about the new album. I feel like this is what we would've gotten directly after pinkerton if critics didn't shit on it so hard. I feel like this summer might be the summer of the revival of 90s music. Blink and sum 41 have new albums coming out this year, weezers got this going for them, the offspring and rhcp are both releasing albums this year too. I already cant wait to spend my last summer before college jammin out to my favorite bands' new albums :)
