i love how he destroys the stereo image of a metal shredder here, no leather, no spikes or long hair, tattoos, or make up... just pure passion , talent , and joy for music
@@matteonapolitano8392 Meh. To me it's a setback. Nothing wrong with it though and to each his own of course. But to me his playing has become boring. It's all just taste.
@@LucOggelin a sense I agree with you - the last album of his I truly enjoyed was Fuzz Universe (and what an album!). But perhaps as fans we place overly high expectations on our idols
I love when one of my student make it big time. Just kidding. One of th emost underated musician. And when we see him play along other guitar god like Steve Vai and Nuno and Yngwie and Ritchie and akk and Joe he is always smiling and it should that he enjoy playing with other. Hats off.
When PGM1000T was announced I was happy. Standard RG body, hardtail, a no-nonsense guitar. "Finally a PGM that I can afford. Shouldn't cost a kidney". Boy I was wrong lol
@@iganpparamarta8813 haahah yes saw it as well price still a bit high (saw it on one of the online retailer in states is around usd 1,300-1,500), but then again the old PGM 300 is around those range of price too but nowadays seems a bit of rare to find
6 months ago I got a new Ibanez 3/4 size P.G. guitar and the p/u's are hot and besides the volume knob there is only a 5 -way selector switch, but no tone knob. So it's built for shredding. It's an ok guitar though. At least now I know who P.G. is. My ESP LTD M-400 is a better shredder, it also has a switch a 3 way switch, no tone knob and the volume knob/pot is either off or on full volume with a resistor wired to it. The p/u's are a Seymore Duncan '59 neck and JB bridge. It has a trem bar and locking nut and great individual minituners for all six strings. Stays in tune forever! It also has 24 fets and a nice slim and thin neck built for speed and comfort. Overall it's a much, much nicer guitar, but still only built for shredding. Funny thing though, overall it's a great guitar and a real pleasure to play! - Peter age 73
Gary Oldman is such and incredible guitarist.

Al Di Meola and Jurgen Klopp have never been seen in the same room too.

Seeing the age on his hand in the close up while sitting by the ocean has the feels going... Time marches on.
Billy too? Wow. Hes a Monstah. Saw him with VAI many moons ago. Thx for the post. !!😊
Paul is killing it! So much talent! Love him❤️🤘❤️
Seeing them now makes me emotional
In a world of shredders, Paul's musicality sets him apart
awesome🤘
Racer x I loved it
When u can shred alone without beat, backing track and keep in tempo right in front of crowds.. then u are real guitar hero..
Paul , Master of picking

He went though the hair metal phase in the 80s now he looks like he could be Weezer’s backup guitarist.
No gimmick on stage, no scandals outside stage.
He fulfilled that stereotype plenty back in the day haha! Long hair, shirtless and stretchy leggings!
its enough for him in the past , when someone reach their peak maybe they dont think much anything else than what they likes.
nothing but love
they are old but still rock!!
Nothing but love!!
Beautiful playing😂
The longest pinky in the history of man
Nothing but love for PG Skill..!!

Nice to see him finally shred again, somewhat.

By far not as impressive as his 90s solo spots anymore.

I am also interested in the 3/4 model. Is it easy to play?

Nick D'Virgilio. His vlog on Japan tour is on RUclips as well. Have fun.
@@sugiyuta wow, He's one of the reviewer drum kit right?
Replaced Drummer, Great!
PG has lost a lot of speed in his alternate. The intro is full alternate and he does it with legato
I notice that too..
Yeah he doesnt practise this or play that style anymore
Old guitarists never die, they just depick.
Billy looks like George Washington
Eric doesn't know how to care his voice...why that scream at the start of the song? At the end of the show he can't barely sing
I think he does it is just something called age! Your voice changes a lot with age!
Every rock singer will lose something in their voice. Hell even guitarists or drummers will lose some of their speed/power.
