  • SmartPLS4 Webinar: Day 1 of the SmartPLS4 Webinar was conducted for the Department of Management Studies and Research Center at BMS College of Engineering, India.
    In this webinar titled "#SmartPLS4 Webinar Day 1: Measurement Model Assessment," we delve into the crucial steps involved in preparing and analyzing data using Smart PLS for structural equation modeling. The video covers topics such as the importance of data cleaning, practical demonstrations of data cleaning using SPSS, transitioning to Smart PLS, setting up a workspace, importing data, creating a measurement model, and interpreting measurement model results. Whether you are new to Smart PLS or looking to enhance your understanding, this webinar provides valuable insights and practical demonstrations to guide you through the process. Join us on this journey of data analysis and measurement model assessment to unlock the potential of your research.
    Explore the intricate details of measuring construct validity and reliability in SmartPLS4. This comprehensive webinar covers topics ranging from addressing low factor loadings to understanding convergent validity. Learn practical strategies for item deletion, the importance of thoughtful questionnaire selection, and the significance of expert opinions in questionnaire adaptation. Understand the statistical calculations for reliability measures like Cronbach's Alpha and Composite Reliability, and delve into the nuances of construct validity, including convergent and discriminant validity. Don't miss insights into handling low AVE (Average Variance Extracted) issues in discriminant validity and how to solve them, and the impact of respondent selection on data quality. Whether you're a novice or an experienced researcher, this webinar provides valuable insights into enhancing the rigor of your measurement model assessment.

    Dr. Fawad. I must say, I have never imagined to watch this kind of useful information for free in the internet! I can’t thank you enough. May God shine your way!
    I have a question: Is it true that if you use questionnaires that have been used in published studies, you do not have to perform measurement model analysis. You can go straight to the structural analysis? Do you agree with that?

      No, measurement model analysis is required.

      @researchwithfawad  2 месяца назад

      No ranking questionnaire need to be organised first. You may first read some material on analyzing ranking data.
